I read a interesting new invention that can change the toilet waste in to drinkable water after some filtering treatment. The fund for this invention was provided by Bill gates. The scientist told that the resultant water may not as pure as bottle water but this invention will be a great help for those people who faces death with dont having water for drink. The researchers plan to have a prototype ready to demonstrate by 2013.This technology will also help to reduce the pollution and lower waste disposal cost.

No offense, but :
1) Cities equipped with a main drainage are already filtering water. Visit a water purification plant, and you will see trouts playing in the filtered water. What is new here ? Is there an interest to filter it in every home ?
2) Do you think that people having no water to drink have water for their toilets ?
Conclusion : It is a perfect example of a stupid and useless invention.

Absolutely, the water filtered by purification plants nowadays is drinkable, and trouts are here to prove it : these fishes can live only in pure, drinkable water, and are dying in polluted waters. Except maybe on a space station, I still don't see where an invention like this can have an interest.

As you said still there is water purification. but are you sure that it is drinkable?

Well'I have watch this discussion in Oprah show before that the tap water in U.S. is actually recycled.Waste water come from the households including toilet water, passes through the sewage system, undergoes treatment, was disposed to the sea, purified, and distributed to the houses again and it's 99.9% safe to drink. It's not actually extracted from toilets. It undergoes long process of water treatment and purification for it to be a potable drinking water.Just don't think where it actually came from.

Yes. that is right. dont think where it come from. if the scientist says that this good for drinking then we can believe him and that water should be good for drinking.

Well that is an intriguing invention and perhaps it could have many great applications. I can see many, many people having reservations but I'm sure that all of those will be tackled, before the invention is something that is going to have wide spread use. Perhaps there is going to be something that can just lead to a very new world and just something that would be great.
If it is proven to be something that is sanitary and this is obviously going to be a big sticking point, then it is going to be a great invention. This will be something that will merit further watching a lot of the time. Hopefully this will have some great applications right in the not so distant future. It is just something that we will be keeping an eye out for in the future for sure.

Lot of money had put for this and that is why Bill gates came forward to fund this research. He had been using his money for many good thinks like this.

This invention is made for the people those who don't have even sufficient water to hold there life. there are lots of people die in every year due to lack of nutrition and water. this is for survival for those people. Also i think If we all came to such a situation then obviously we will drink such water.

If such a new system is released then we can reduce the environmental pollution to a large extend. I think that this is the one of the best invention by the humans to save our earth. Hope this will come in existence as soon as possible
