Greetings gamers,
I've run onto a video the other day that all the video game consoles were viewed in a chronological order (http://vimeo.com/13749287) starting in the year 1972 with the Magnavox Odyssey console and finishing with the Xbox 360 slim in 2010. That made me think which was my first gaming console, which was the 1989 Nintendo Game Boy. So what was your first gaming console people?

That video had the same effect to me too :) Space Invaders and Pitfall are classics and I have to agree with you, games back then were a lot harder. It needed precision and patience if you wanted to finish or master a game back then. I still can play the games I played back then good. Skate or die, Castlevania2, Super Mario Bros, I can still play them pretty good :)

My first game console was the NES. So many good times, and so many good games too. I remember spending a lot of hours playing many different games. The great thing about the NES is the games still hold up today, maybe not so much in the graphics department, but the gameplay department for sure. I also like a old games soundtracks.

Yeah The NES and many of it's games were great. Even the first Super Mario Bros is still on the top.

I can't remember which one I had 1st between the NES and the Atari 2600. I know I have a huge library of games between the two of them without question. That'd be the best way I can put it.

This video also includes computers. My first one was the Sinclair ZX81.
What a fascinating video for collectors! Many of these items will become antiques within your lifetimes. They are already worthy museum pieces.
If you ever thought about becoming a collector...
Wow!
