myLot without avatar

I've noticed since last night here that the pictures in myLot are missing. I assume it's some server glitch and should be back as soon as it's fixed. They are still missing when I'm back this morning, and now I'm starting to miss seeing the avatars.
I guess I start to 'recognize' people here through their avatars. And now that I can only see the user names, most of the ones I know before become unrecognizable to me.
I like to learn people's profile here when I see their interesting posts, and I've spent good amount of time doing that. I hope the pictures are back real soon so I don't have to repeat going back to people's profile just to find out that I've known them already. Do these glitches have anything to do with the long holiday weekend?

Not only the avatars but also the notifiers are not arriving either 
This situation should be on its last day now as the holiday is almost over.
I hope that myLot realise how patient we have been and that we have not started too many topics (yet) about these glitches

Wont these discussions, i mean those that've been started on the same topic, be deleted?

Hi shrinithi!
If they are duplicate topics then yes they will. If they have a 'twist' to them and there is something slightly different in the topic then they might have a chance of staying up.

You know what,i thought, i'm one fat big girl who has entered mylot,and so i only don't get to see those until i reach a hundred or two hundred posts.
But lol! everyone is suffering from the very same.You know since my childhood,i love picturised books.Books and websitess with colourful pictures and avatars attract me the most.It might be because of this long weekend that they take time to fix it.Hope they fix it soon. You know what,

I'd love to see them all back again.Colourful fun filled mylot,is something i want to see again.Hope they fix it soon.I've not seen many,infact,to say the truth,i've seen only 2 members' avatars in mylot and i'm wondering how the others would be.Hoping they would make me see all these avatars before i get bored of this colourless mylotting day! Anyway,i enjoy mylotting!

You joined just when the missing avatars problem is happening...
You'll enjoy it much more when they are back. For me, it's easier to 'know' people here from their avatars; user names help too, but sometimes they are too 'strange' for me to remember.
Come to think of it, I haven't seen your avatar either...
Now I'm curious what kind did you choose for yourself

Haha yeah,so my avatar's not going to be so good,i mean atleast not upto your expectations! I just want to see a good picture near each one's name and that's it. I don't recognize people by it because i guess not many are known to me here.But the smiley that you use at the end of every response or comment (looks like a bright sun)--is cool!

As soon as the admin back from their long vacation every problem will be solved, and the avatars will be back. but my heart is not missing, its still here

Actually I kinda forgot what was your avatar look like but I still remember who you are. I had conversation with you in several discussions, remember the sayur asam discussion 
and discussion about chrisye? Was your avatar something like blue scenery? I dont know how to describe it, but was it something like blue painting?

Yes, I remember you too; I have to get back to your interesting story about living in different places...
'Blue Hills' is my avatar.
Yours have different pictures of your handmade crafts, right?
I might change mine because I see similar ones belong to people here. One of them is a friend whom I enjoy many discussions with. So sometimes I see mine and his on the same discussion box and it'd look like I'm having conversation with myself 
He's been here longer than me, so he got his avatar known here first. I don't mind changing mine, I just don't know what it'd be yet, it has to be something blue...

This happen from time to time, the Avatar picture don't show up, on Mylot I don't worry about it as long as I can, come here and comment on these discussions, that is all that matter to me right now, I know Mylot will fix the problem, they always do.
