rabbit treats

My son recently got a pet rabbit. We got her from a breeder who let us know that the rabbit's favourite treat is bird seed. I am confident it can't hurt her but this is something I had never heard of before. Does anyone have any experience with rabbits that eat bird seed?

I got a rabbit a few months ago, and was told not to give them seeds, or anything such as those. Supposeable rabbits have bad digestive systems, and they cant break down seeds. Now that said before I knew this I bought him a treat its a chewy log and has hay and seeds inside it. He hasnt had an issue, but I watch him and make sure, also not all the time either.
