Holding a position in the government is not just a power but a privileged. A privileged for anyone at that position to help those who are in needs of immediate attention. No doubt people need leaders with sympathy and unconditional love not just for a few but for the whole mankind.

i agree with you on this. There are a lot of people who says they want to serve the country, but in reality they are only serving themselves and are just trying to put their names up to the famous ones who "did something" for the country, etc but in reality they only saved themselves a couple of hundreds of bucks for their own.
I think there are a lot of people who would initially start serving because that is what they want, they genuinely wanted to help people, they want to serve, they are compassionate, but then they would eventually become corrupted by the very state, or the very system they are trying to do against with.

Unfortunately the majority will vote for the wrong leader that makes empty promises.
It's almost always like that. Take my government for example.

Yes it is very true, that is why we should be more vigilant on voting our leaders. Some of them are acting like a sheep during election campaign, but after election and being put into office their true identity revealed...some of them are wolves ready to devour us.
