I remember when we had to line up for hours to see a summer blockbuster. And chances are theaters were sold out. Remember that? Why was that? What has changed? And not to mention these movies are in and out. I wanted to go see The Immortals and my daughter said it's out on DVD already. Whaaaa? Okay, so what are you looking forward to seeing? Why? Cute guys? Pretty girls? Action? Actually, if I find the cash gheeez, I can't wait to see the The Avengers, Battle Ship and Snow White and the Huntsman. Love those comic book heroes and fairy tales re-made all dark eerie.

The blockbuster movies so far this year has been Journey 2, ghost rider 2, the darkest hour etc. The upcoming ones are The Hobbit, and Jack the Giant killer. As you can see I mostly love thrillers, suspense and action movies, also it would be an added advantage if the actor is HOT!
I remember those times when we used to actually hurry up to the nearest theater to buy the tickets before it gets houseful, but now that craziness is rarely seen as the number of theaters have increased, also movies are so easily available for download these days. Also, the local language movies that are a hit are very soon telecast on the movie channels.

Yeah, I guess there are way more theaters these days. Plus our TV sets are tons better than the old days so getting the DVD on Blue Ray is not bad, though I would rather see it in a theater. I didn't like ghost rider 1 so I guess I won't be bothered with the second one. I will go see The Hobbit.

I'm looking forward to seeing Dark Shadows that is coming next month. The Lucky One should be good. Along with The Help, THe Decendants, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Arnold Knobbs, Mirror Mirror, Bully, Underworld: Awakening, and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

Yes, that's all we can hope for. That these movies are worth our ten dollars or so. I don't qualify for the student discount anymore nor the senior discount yet.

I never really got much into those and I can honestly say I didn't really care for the immortals but it's just a matter of opinion I guess. The only thing I would maybe even bother wanting to spend my money on this year would be Twilight Breaking Dawn 2. That's only because I read the entire series before the movies ever came out and found them to be verry good. Although I can't say I'm all that pleased with the movies they could be much much worse, so I'm not going to complain too much.

Hey, you are looking forward to spend money on twilight movie. I have heard people saying twilight movies are the worst thing, it is a shame if anyone spends money on it But I am on your team, I love supernatural stories, however boring they might be, I enjoy watching them so I have no complains!!

Twilight is a little too High School for me, but again, that's my personal opinion. I caught some of the movie on cable and was really laughing out loud. However, that could be because my kids turned off the sound and created their own dialogue. It was hilarious. I also heard that the books were way better than the movies.

A good block buster is worth every penny. I however don’t watch all blockbusters on the big screens. I prefer to watch action drama on the big screen. As for romantic dramas, it end to wait until the DVD is out, then I can watch it from home. This year Transformers was my favorite.

Ah, I meant to see Transformers this year but I missed it. I did just go see Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Yeah, worth every penny especially when I didn't pay.

I know huh? If ya blink ya don't get a chance to see it on the big screen. And some of these are always better on the big screen. Oh well.

I'm definitely hoping to get to the theater to see Battleship mainly because of the excellent cast. For me, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch or Liam Neeson are big enough draws by themselves but altogether...Well, just say I'm THERE!
I'd also like to see The Avengers, again because of the stars. Actually, I guess it's the actors that generally determine what movies I want to see the most. I like all different genres but no matter what it is if it has a good cast I'm interested.

Two movies I've been to see so far that have been worth the money are Titanic in 3D and Hunger Games. Two other movies that I will try and go see this year are The Dark Knight Rises and Prometheus. I also went to see Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D. It was cool to see it in 3D but it didn't really impress me that much. I think Star Wars is fine the way it is. However, Titanic, in my opinion, is perfect for 3D. I was really surprised at how good it looked in 3D. It really made the movie that much better. And, of course I can't say enough about The Hunger Games. I loved it. I may even go see it again if I get the chance before it leaves. I can't wait to see Prometheus. I think it comes out in June. It's the prequel to Alien. And it is directed by Ridley Scott who also directed Alien. That's all that come to mind right now. There will probably be others that I will have to go see. This looks like a big year for movies.

It does seem like a big movie year. But then again, more movies mean less time they last on the big screen. I haven't heard of Prometheus. It's a prequel to Aline. Sounds interesting.

The Hunger Games, The Hobbit, The Avengers, The Wrath of the Titans.. I guess those are some of the movies we've been looking forward to this year. I'd say The Hunger Games was really worth it.

I forgot about The Wrath of the Titans. I love Sam. And I'll go see the Hobbit cause I heard Orlando Bloom is actually in it. Why? I don't know. His character wasn't in the book. Now about The Hunger Games. What did you think about the violence. I'm not saying anything bad because I haven't seen it yet, but I heard violence by and on children was pretty nasty. What did you think?
