making money with your blog or by writing for someone else?

I am a writer for quite some time. The problem is that I don't really know if what I do will help me in the long run. I mean, I write for other people because I don't have a job and if I start my own website, I won't make any money, at least for 1 year maybe.

Hi there... I think writing your own Blog is a really terrific idea. I am not sure about the money part so I will not say anything about that. What I would want to say is that writing your own blog is a very liberating task. So, if you can make money from your blog & at the same time, feel liberated, why not??!!!

i would suggest that you start writing for own blog. it might not pay you now the same salary, however over the period of time you would catch up with the money. the early you start the better to grow and work on your publicity

If you are a good writer, definitely you can make money writing worthy content daily in your blog.That is the best idea other than any one else.

Try to bring more traffic to your blog , then you can write reviews for those site pay you to write. I still can not find a steady income on internet ,really hard
