I realized at some point that life is short indeed...today it's Monday, tomorrow it's already Saturday. Time goes by really fast. Don't be upset that you don't have money because money doesn't make you happy. Your other half makes you happy. Family makes you happy. Friends make you happy. So, spend as much time with them as you can.

time is so short and so fast that it passes at a time when you consider how much time has passed and you have not done anything useful and something qualitatively.
lately like most of us do not feel how fast time passes and we think only about money.
interesting topic.
so have fun and enjoy life.

Well that is true, but our administrators make money very important for being happy. I can't be happy knowing that I can't provide my family the assurance of unconcerning about money. We don't live in a ferry tale to say that money aren't important. It is too bad to say it but they are.

It's true that money have an important place in our lives. The thing is that when you are happy and believe that things will be ok, they will be ok. Try to be more positive, don't think about negative stuff. I was a pessimistic person and thing went very wrong for me. When I began to think positively, things changed for good. All things changed. I was always alone, no friends, no girlfriend, not money etc.
When I opened up to the world and began to be positive, everything fell into place: girlfriend, friends, money, happiness and much more. Think about it.

I agree with you, my friend. Life is so short and we don't know when this life would be...Time is much faster as it can because the bible said the time is going to be faster on it's end and we should not wonder about it. We need eternal life and not be punished when this earth turn into darkness...

I've never been an indoor person. I've always done what makes me happy. I've trained horses, went swimming and rode bike since I could go further than the yard. Yesterday my boys came for Easter and not hungry. I go with the flow. The sit down meal has become a thing of the past. One son brought something for us all to drink, another came bearing gifts for his nephew and the third son brought two movies for watching with his dad. Now that's a great Easter!

Absolutely right, suntgabipopa.Life is really too short.Wasting it staying indoors is losing a golden opportunity to enjoy the company of our friends and family members.Going outdoors does not necessarily mean travelling long distances and visiting different places in your country or abroad. Not all of us can afford it.If we just step out of our room and enjoy the company of our family members,I think,it's enough. Also we need to step out of the shells of our mind and open our mind to what others experience or feel or say. That's what God has created us for.

Life is what we make it regardless of what we have or do not have. We need to work with what we haves instead off mopping around and dreaming of things that we wish we had. What we have right now is enough to make us enjoy the life we have. There are things that one can not place a price value on; like family, peace of mind and love.

I agree with you. There are so many times that I opt to stay indoors and not go out because I'm afraid of spending my money. But yes, we have to choose going out than staying indoors because the beauty and enjoyment of life is outside our homes. I have become too thrift when it comes to money that I didn't like spending it on friends or lover but now I realize yes, life is too short to just be at home all day.

First and foremost, welcome to myLot. :)
I am not going to agree to that..completely. :)
Time goes by fast..when we are happy :)
Otherwise, every moment can seem like an age, at least when we are going through tough parts.
Honestly, we need enough for food, clothing, shelter, medicine, for ourselves, and our family, and for forseeable future before we can really start feeling completely relaxed. And then..not everybody who comes on your way is trustworthy, however much he or she impresses you, or seems to care for you. We also act socially at times. So ..that relatives and social bit should also be in moderation.

Life is definitely short for those who enjoy life, and seems to be longer for those are depressed, frustrated and worried, lol! So, spending it should be a matter of discretion with regards to the things that really make you happy, make you think, make you plan and make you enjoy.

Staying indoors can be fun when spent with friends. There are also things we can do without spending much money. We can just walk with friends or run or jog with them at the same time have laughs with them. It's good to have someone with you in spaces of times you don't have something to do. Yes, life is too short so live the most out of it.

Time is indeed short and it does seem to be get shorter the older that we get. The pace of everything seems so much faster. Of course, I think that it is because of age, we are going to be moving all that much slower. I think that however, you should go with whatever makes you happy, because everyone is different however, because of the shortness of life.
If it is friends, if it is money, if it is some combination of both, then that is what you should go for. If you are a solitary person who feels like they need a small but rather loyal support network to help you then that is what you should do. If you grin like a crazed person because you make a few more dollars, than obviously that makes you happy. And if there are times where it depends on the day, then you got to get the most out of life for you. It isn't about money for some, it's about friends, but it is very much about money for some. Still if you can't make money and feel frustrated, perhaps it really isn't about money after all for you.

When I was in high school I was a member of a Catholic youth organization being run by a religious congregation. The congregation was teaching us Catholic catechism. In one of the sessions, the topic was the ultimate purpose of man and surprisingly, the answer we got was -- to be happy.
Upon reading the Bible, the truth is very far from such answer:
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man." -- Ecclesiastes 12:13

But we can not remove the fact that money makes the world moving. It is very true that life is too short so we must live to the fullest everyday. Do no waste your time by just sitting around and waiting for rewards. Just have fun.
