I know I'm 23 years old allready, but I still like watching cartoons and teenseries on teennick/nickelodeon. Is it ok to watch it even though I'm a grown up? :S Eventhough I get my inspiration for drawing and designing from it...

Hi In2day, Where is the harm in it? I am 56 and I've watched those kinds of shows with my kids growing up and now with my grandkids and I love them. I don't see anything at all wrong or childish in it.

Yes I agree! I just don't understand why some adults say cartoons are for children...

It also happens to me as one at a time I do watch cartoons in the Pogo and nick and my parents always tell what are you seeing grow up why you are watching cartoons be an adult but it looks I can not leave it.I mostly watch the cartoons which are comedy types such as tom and jerry, oggy and the cockroaches, etc.

My Dad likes to watch tom and jerry too and anime. So it's not because of my parents that I asked this question. Some adults are just being party poopers :p

I never thought of you as a childish act to view a kiddie show as I also enjoy it sometimes when I feel bored upon something. We are just adding some years in our age each year but it is still me or you who still felt the same way as far as I can imagine.Does that bother you?Do not be because for me who cares what they say about me as long as I enjoy my life. Please enjoy your life as it pleases you no matter what.

It is not childish at all. In fact, I'm now 19 but I still enjoy watching cartoons on Cartoon Netok, Nick, and Disney Channel. I often enjoy watching and laughing ove Hannah Montana replays on Disney Channel.

Perhaps you feel immature but don't. There is always a child in us which is really a normal occurrence. Well you are learning from it, and improving your craft by it, so I don't see anything wrong with it. Haven't you noticed that the makers of these cartoons or kid's shows are also adults? It only means that these kind of subject fuels the passion both of kids and adults. It may lean towards abnormal or disturbing if you have become dysfunctional as an adult because you devote your time for these kind of shows and neglecting your responsibilities as a grown up.

I also feel the same way you do sometimes. Many of my friends say that I'm childish, but they would say it in a sincere manner. Sometimes I thought of giving up cartoons and animes, and start growing up. hehehe

Well i'm 26 and I can still watch some of them from time to time though I prefer watching kid series or cartoons which I used to watch younger, probably cause of the nostalgia they bring too :)

Who said that it is childish to watch cartoon movies even if you already old? It's a very wrong and pathetic! I would like to correct that notion. Watching those kind of movie or television series are for everyone. I love watching cartoons though I am already an adult. No one can deprive me from watching it. It is one of my past time.

I'm way way older then you, and really just about 5 or 6 years ago did I start to lose interest in (some) cartoons. I still like the "classics", which I'm sure are way before your time.lol! If watching cartoons inspires you for drawing and designing, and thats your passion then your doing what the universe intended you to do!
