Friends,
Our technology today has given us an opportunity to voice out our opinions real time. It has changed the way we communicate with each other. Social networking sites have been a fad for quite awhile now. And while this flourish, so does the number of haters and bashers. A number of celebrities are making headlines for standing up against these type internet junkies. Other people say, its better to ignore them for they only cause trouble. Personally, I think it would be best not to tolerate such bad behaviors. What do you think?

With the development of social media, most people have become bold enough to air their views, regardless of whether they are hurtful or not because no one can see them. I personally can not stand bashers and haters. I think they are cowards; so I either report the content or block them which are allowed on some social sites.

I agree with you. Nowadays, you can also use and create a number of identities online and others take that as an opportunity for them to make a pointless argument specifically aiming someone they hate so much. What's alarming is that the number of users particularly inclined to do such things are increasing and younger generations are most likely to respond quickly, sometimes emulate such bad behavior. I hope that parents do their part of addressing such issues with their children.

You're right, some folks just want to create a scene and loving the negative attention they are getting. I think they also do this just for kicks or simply to irritate someone. I'm personally not active with posting so much on twitter or facebook for I have seen some of my friends being a victim of bashers and haters. One time at the office, they created a facebook page for the company. The guys started to bully another guy, straight men hating on one of our not so good looking, very average officemate, but who always get the girls. The company learned about it and made necessary actions. It was pretty bad.

Yeah you're right. Ignoring them is one, Blocking the user is another, but I hope users are also given warnings with the use of obscene words or with inappropriate content in their comments. These social networking sites has to also look beyond profit gained and start to look after the public's best interest.
