Whats wrong with gambhir??

Okay, can anybody explain this? whats wrong with him?
At first he won the toss and chose to field. Only god knows why?
Then he does not use abdullah at all in the match. Abdullah is consistently bowling well from last few season in the ipl. Instead he uses yusuf pathan, who is getting a hard time currently with the ball.
And then he comes to crease and goes back to the pavilion in the very first ball. Wow! that was really an innings like a captain.
And above all, why the hell you do not include the man in the playing squad who is currently the number one all rounder of world cricket? I mean can anybody explain why shakib al hasan is on the reserve bench when some useless players( like mccullum ) are being used.
No wonder he was kicked out from the vice captaincy in the national team.

I think Gambhir is a good team player, but not so sure about his captaincy acumen. He is someone like Gambhir extremely focused and expects others to simply do their job. When things go wrong or people are not up for the game, he is short of ideas on how to jee up the players and that is what I think is the problem with Gambhir.

I have no doubt at all about the inefficiency of gambhir as a captain. He is also in terrible form currently. Otherwise why did he played without shakib and when kalis is struggling as a opener currently, why he doesn't open the innings?

must be a very angry KKr supporter who could not understand why his team never make it big even with big players.
when it comes to all-rounder,KKR has always been like this.remeber Masrafe MORTAZA?
kept him out of team for almost all through the season and finally gave him a match where he gave away 25 runs in the decisive last over.
i see similar fortunes for sakib if they dont use him quickly.

LOL. Good try for guessing but actually I am not a kkr supporter. Basically I am a cricket fan, so it annoys me whenever someone makes a bad decision in field. No matter who it is. Even when a team opponent to india make a bad decision, that too annoys me.
And to be specific about supporting any team in ipl, I support pune, dd and csk.

Yea, that's pretty screwed up thinking. Shakip-Ul-Hassan has been doing an excellent job. No wonder KKR have lost their initial 2 matches in a row!! And, I am pretty sure this is not going to change at all throughout this IPL - 5 series.
On the other hand, Pune Warriors have been doing a terrific job. In their match against Mumbai Indians, they defeated their own "big brother"..!! Terrific job by Dada. He does need to play more & put more runs on the board, though.. Getting out at 38 first & then, 20... Surprising. Guess he has been outta practice...

I think gambhir himself should be replaced by shakib as a captain as you can see gambhir is of no use for kkr and failed in batting as well as in captaincy.
Team owner need to think seriously on this issue.

It looks he is not a good captain material as he has faltered in many ways and he have not been using his bowling well.You have rightly said that Sakib should be there in the team as in recently concluded asia cup he played well and showed all round performance and took Bangladesh to the finals.He is a good player and he should be there in the team for all the matches.But on mccullam, he is a player if it is his day then he is the most destructive player but for now he is out of form.I hope he usses the service of Sakib in the coming matches, or atleast have a try on him.

Yeah, you will not even remember when mcculum had played a good knock last time, except the first match of first season, in ipl.
Shakib has performed very well in last few years.
Only some mindless idiot will keep him out of playing eleven.
Why the hell did kkr bought gambhir for 10 cr? Not only this season, but if you recall you will remember that he was poor with bat even in previous season. Though he had made a few runs but definitely it was not worth 10cr at all.

He chose fielding might because he was interested in chasing considering the batting strength of the team. but i also still have the same question why shakib- ul- hasan was not in the playing eleven. I think he should selected him in place of narine.

yeah, but if he had chose batting and made a good score and achieved victory by a long margin then that would be helpful to improve the runrate also.
Instead of selecting two specialist batsmen and two specialist bowler in the foreign player quota,I think selecting an all rounder was a better choice.
An all rounder can make a lot of difference in t20 format.

the gambhir knows welll...the biggest blunder i can't understand is the case of sakib al hasan....such a fine all rounder but still wait to include in the team...god knows wht through gambhir's mind

Does mcculum worth to be included in the team? Once upon a time he had played a super fast innings. Is that reason enough for including him in the team?
On the other hand shakib is terrific in both bowling and batting. He had played superb innings recently in asia cup and also troubled the opponent with his bowling.
Does he deserves to be on reserve bench?

To be frank I think Gambhir can be a good player, but not a good captain. I think he missed a trick by not playing good players in the team. I also think Sakhb Al Hasan should play. I also think players who not performing should not be in the team and be in the bench and others should be given chances.
