headaches

I have occasional migraines, as
well as regular tension or sinus
headaches. One medicine I have
come to rely on for treating them
quickly is an ayurvedic headache powder. This powder consists of aspirin,
acetaminophen, and caffeine in a
powder form which goes straight into the system and starts to work faster than any
tablet of capsule. The caffeine in the product especially helps with migraine pain. You know they
must work well, since they have been around for ages, and have extremely loyal customers who
are willing to swallow powdered
aspirin, which is not a
particularly pleasant experience.
Although it is over quickly, the last thing you want to taste is
something like aspirin when you already don’t feel well, especially
if a migraine is making you have
nausea. You almost have to have a drink available to choke
these down. Although it is not necessary, it is highly advisable,
since the powder not only leaves an awful taste, it can drift into
your windpipe and cause you to cough. Washing it down quickly with water or another drink
works best.

Headaches can cause us to be very irritable especially if they linger on for sometime. Usually I would welcome any remedy when I’m having a headache. Ayurveda recommends more natural ways of treating the headache. For instance massaging coconut oil on the head and scalp can be very soothing. There is also a spa treatment known as Shiro Dhara; which is pouring warm oil from the fore head.

Headaches are really terrible!..I usually have migraines when my menstrual period is getting near or when I'm in the computer for how many hours. It can really affect my work and my usual activity. Whenever I had headaches, I usually drink a lot of water and take some rest. When I cannot take it anymore, I take a medicine.

Migraines are awful, I know how you feel. I can't say that I would ever take powdered asprin. But the capsule for sure. I have tried the powdered form and its an awful taste without a doubt. You almost have to have something to wash it down with for sure because if not you don't want that taste in your mouth. No way! I have to say though I prefer ibprofen. Which has all the same ingrediants.

I usually experience this terrible migraine when I feel tensed or when I'm hungry. I thought I had some eye problem, but when I consulted an eye specialist, he told me that there is no problem with my eyes and therefore I don't have to wear eyeglasses. He told me that this migraine might have been caused by several factors such as tension or when having a monthly period. As of now I would take medicine as soon as I feel the pain is starting. I am taking mefenamic and sometimes paracetamol.
