I was sitting on yahoo messenger talking to my daughter and turned on the music they have that you can click on and listen to.
My daughter could read what song I was listening to and said Mom what are you listening to as she typed to me.
I said Soft rock of the 70's Vietnam time LOL
I then asked if she could hear it She said no she just said the title and singers name showed up on her messenger.
Do you listen to music when using your yahoo messenger?
I really like it I get to do more than one thing on my computer.

it was not hard. I just bring it up and sign in and at the bottom there is a place about the music and genres of music.
I love the 70's music either hard rock or soft and mellow.
Give it a try you might like it.
Its nice when hubby is asleep and you are not ready to turn in and want to listen to something.

I turn on my yahoo messenger whenever i work with my computer even though i dont chat often. If i chat with friends, I may surf internet only instead of chatting only. Listening music is my favor also. I often do 2-3 works at the same time such as, writing on mylot, listening VOA news, and if can chat with friends for a while. Even do programming, i still use a headphone to listening music, but just listening at that time, no word of songs get in my mind..lol..However, I heard that women do like that more regularly than men because of women brain's character.

Hi marie: I don't use Yahoo Messenger but I use Hotmail MSN Messenger and you can find what your friends are listening there. There's also the option to hide that information in case you don't want it on MSN's options.

I rarely use Yahoo Messenger nowadays. The internet signal here is not suitable for use of Yahoo Messenger. I can't log in to my account. I now use Facebook chat instead. But before, I heavily use Yahoo Messenger in communicating with my online business partners. I like that feature of Yahoo Messenger because through it we can transfer big files, as if you are sending it by email.

I didn't know I could listen to music while on Yahoo Messengar I just listen to my itunes while I am chatting on yahoo or even facebook. I'll have to look at it the next time I am on messanger talking to one of my friends. It might spark some interesting conversations depending on what I decide to listen to.

Yea its pretty fun give it a try. I love it. Don't have to download anything you just get to listen to the best of the genre of music you choose.

Well, I don't use Messenger, but if I did, the music would probably be compromised... whenever I listen to the radio on the net while I'm doing something else on the computer, the music gets the hiccups -- very annoying.

I have never used Yahoo Messenger. I don't really even know how it works, but if I did, I would probably listen to music. If the music was something I liked that is.

You get to choose your genre of music you would like to listen to. YOu can always change the genre you are using and switch to something else.
