I just came from this nice person's discussion
http://www.mylot.com/nr/newresponse.aspx?p=1&qid=2647287
and this person's friend posted 75 discussions in like one hour, I mean I don't even know how is that possible and I thought I typed fast, guess I would never beat that. I left my question there if MyLot doesn't look at this like a spam.
But the idea to create this discussion was to ask you MyLotter friends how many can we post, I read the faqs and I still have no idea, thanks a lot!

I honestly don't think that there is a limit to how many discussions that we are allowed to post in one day. However, I think in the true spirit of mylot, we should limit the discussions that we start during the course of a day to the number that you would be able to attend to and those that are going to be high quality discussions.
The reason that I feel this way is because I think that quality is much better than quantity.

Hi! I totally agree. I think that there are those who are able to work fast and still give the quality that maybe would take the next guy 3 days to do. It is everyone at their own pace, but yes, one must tend to what is his to tend to. Thanks! Kat

There is no limit to how many topics we can post in one day BUT, a topic is NOT a discussion.
A topic only becomes a discussion when there are comments posted to those who respond, furthering the topic.
If a user posts 75 topics in one day and does not comment back to those who respond then they are not doing what myLot was created for and they are going to be disappointed with their earnings to because they will earn NOTHING AT ALL for the responses that others post on them. Those who post them will earn for them because we only earn for our own activity here.

Thanks a lot, that is clearifying.
I don't see how I could have so much imagination like that, but anyways it's good to know that when I am I can be creating said discussions, if only I come back to them.
Sometimes it's good to stay in one I create and just pressing F5, but most of the times I come to check other day cause I'm busy with something.

Hi!
I don't see how that 75 could be done, wow, that is awesome! Some people ARE very fast typists, but not me. I am a lil above average in speed, and I cannot do that. I think maybe some answers could have been prepared ahead of time, but not all of them. Copy-paste is another idea that came to mind.
Thanks~
Kat

Yes!
There are services online that lets you to type and to learn how you are ranked. I went there all happy, all excited, I find out I'm sooooooooooo slow, but soooooooo slow that, okay...
lol
Maybe then the person is giving attention to their discussion and only can be able to because of how fast they type.

For me, it's no more than 3 or 4, and that's on a good day. A lot of times I have a really hard time creating discussions and I usually only make one if I have a good thought or idea of one. I would love to be able to do way more and increase my earnings but I'm so busy that sometimes it's not possible. Hopefully this summer I'll have more time on my hands to post more and respond to more discussions.

Indeed!
The biggest problem is how can we answer them all?
I come back to discussions when I'm in the mood, for example today I started a discussion I'm really into, I want to hear what people have to say cause I always learn from them. But then it's slow and for a few hours people are not answering, but many discussions surprised me by have a lot of answers the next day, so in the next I'm really totally into something else and not in the mood, so I'll come back when I am. Cause I just go through the discussion answering everybody, all excited and chatty

Do you think they change a lot?
I heard they change as well. I might give it another read, last time it was one year ago probably. I can't seem to find where they say about anything of the limits of numbers of discussions and just one opinion until now about this could be considered as spam...

I think it's amazing that the friend posted 75 discussions, however, I don't really think it's that amazing once you think about it. Remember that we are paid here where we post and 'discuss' with our fellow mylotters, therefore, if he posted 75 discussions today, it wouldn't cut if he doesn't 'discuss' with other members.
Further, if he does that everyday, then THAT's AMAZING! hehehe.. Why? Because you could do that as well if you'd really like. Just have a notepad with you and write down all the topics you think or come across with for a few days, you'd probably end up with more than 75 topics or discussions.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

Others can do that maybe depending upon the discussions they posted. If they do a one liner discussions like "Define Love" or "What's your Favorite Color?" am sure they can make 75 discussions in one hour. I myself can't start a new discussion in a day. I can make up to 4 discussions in a single day but not everyday. It depends upon my mood sometimes I can't think of any topic for me to start with. What I do is I make responses to other discussions for around 10 to 20 plus my comments to their responses to my started discussions. If I would seriously do new discussions only probably I can post up to 10 but I'm not doing it as I have to make responses and comments as well.

Do you think that's how it's done? This person could be banned for that you think?
Yes we need soooo much time and mood to deal with all our discussions, it seems so hard to be able to deal with so many as this person.
That discussions really intrigued me when I read it.

Hi katie: That's a weird question in my opinion and for me, I just don't care about how many post you can make a day probably because I am not the more active topic starter and I am not on the top of the highest responders. The reason why it's because I appreciate quality over quantity and I really have to feel inspired to participate in a discussion or to make my own questions.

Yes dear, that's why it's amazing to create discussions, people here cleared me up and I agree with the majority: this person might not being able to handle all of them maybe.
But thing is for sure, it's more important to come back and continue the discussions we started than to create a lot.

obviously this guy has a great imagination and make the most of yourself.
I can write a reply but then head hurts.
and have people be happy for him.
I can write a maximum 10 discussions and I'm not sure.
I say a big CONGRATULATIONS ~!

Oh you found the guy.
Another problem: if it's not relevant people will pass it by.
Well many of my discussions maybe are not as well but I really want to discuss them, I think we can get the feeling when someone is just posting to post something or they really are up to a good talk.

Thank you, I read the faqs, maybe it was too fast (I pay attention to too many things at the same time lol) but I didn't find ever how many it's possible.
But you see dear (welcome! I'm here for 2 years) people here can always answer us, it seems it's not seem as spam or inflicting the MyLot's rules. So it is okay, the problem as I imagined is that how can we managed so many discussions in so little time?
It's more important to come back and manage our discussions than to create.
