i know it's unsafe in facebook..but i always keep my profile private..i don't set my albums in public..not even friends of friends, unless a friend of mine is tagged on my picture..and i never placed my family name, private information..and i don't make my profile searchable..only my friends can see my profile when they write my name on the search area..
and now, i'm so worried..when i used my father's facebook account, i saw a profile with my nickname and family name..and with my picture..i hope i'll find out the real person behind it..

It is really unfortunate to see your own name, with your own picture in someone else account. I have seen that and know someone who uses her cousin's pictures to show the world that she's a liar and a user of others pictures. Surely, you are a victim. I think that you can make a complaint about it and report it as a kind of abuse. I believe that facebook authorities will look into it. It's not new to have that kind of thing, since facebook is not very strict in their rules about photos. I hope not to see my own picture used by other people.

lolz. It's safer to place one's picture in MyLot than in Facebook.

@god_is good: i had complain on facebook before..but this time, i think the person who's behind it knows me..i just can't tell who exactly he/she is..
@loonys: i don't have picture with my face here on mylot..
@sinfulrose: i don't think it's safe to post pictures here in mylot..because no social networking is safe..

Oh no, that is not good for you, i don't know who use that ,it is not always safe facebook account.It is really bad using fb now these days.
They may use that for people fraud,crime etc.

One should know what to place online and what is to keep private. Do also take note that whatever you place online, it cannot be deleted forever. Facebook sure is unsafe in more ways than one but there are security measures you can take to hide what you wish to hide in public.
You said that you father's account can see your nickname, family name with your picture. Well, isn't your father's account your friend in facebook?
