What are the anime series you're watching lately?

I'm a big fan of anime since I was young, and I am a big fan of DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Voltes V and Daimos. Right now I am in my early 30's, I go gaga over Fairy Tail, Bleach, Aquarion Evol, Nurarihyon No Mago and Hitman Reborn! I like action-adventure, comedy, fantasy, supernatural and romance-type genre with a little twist of mysteries and surprises, cuz it is so much fun to watch and a bit closer to my age and "taste". I just started Murder Princess today. I am 3 episodes in but so far the princess's dad was murdered and while she was escaping her mind was switched with another woman's, and bandit I think. So now the bandit girl is posing as the princess to help protect the country, and the princess girl serves as like her handmaiden but helps give her guidance. I am interested in seeing where the anime is going to go.

I am in the middle of several different anime. But currently I am watching This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, Story of Saiunokoku (season 2), Soul Eater, Claymore, Rozen Maiden. Story of Saiunokoku follows a girl whose dream was to become a government official so it follows her struggles and fighting. She also was a concubine for the Emperor. I enjoy it greatly Claymore: Villages are being attack by Yoma and Claymore (Silver eyed witches) come to save the villages. It is an intense anime and I love it. This Ugly Yet Beautiful World: This one I just started and so far it started out a average slice of life then the average boy meets beautiful woman who feel from the sky. But she has a mysterious past and for some reason Yoma are constantly attacking her. It's intriguing and I look forward to finishing it.

I'm not sure what kind of shows you are into but two shows I can recommend are "Needless" and "Asura Cryin". Needless is set after the third world war (it's in the future but I don't remember when) and there is mass destruction all over the world. There is a crater called the "black spot" where the "rejects" of society live. Because of the contamination the people who live in the Black Spot gain supernatural powers which are called fragments. The "Needless" look to fight the person who has control over the land and the people. I don't want to give too much away, but it's a great show and I suggest checking it out. The characters are great. Asura Cryin' is about these high school kids who can pilot these robot type things. The protagonist is haunted by his childhood friend. Literally -- she's a ghost that wanders around. The show involves demons, robot fights, and a bunch of supernatural elements. I am sorry I am being rather vague but with these two shows, if I explained any more I would be totally ruining it for you.

I've watched almost a hundred anime in my entire 22 years of living... and what I want you to try watching now is Fairy Tail. Why? Because it's packed with lots of comedy, action and color. I would assume that you already know Fairy Tail, right?... for it's on the top list every manga sites. I hope you would try it.
