What are other things that you can do with strawberries?

Aside from making strawberries as jams or perfumes, is there anything else that you're doing with strawberries. I'm preety much aware that you can eat it as a strawberry cream or with a salad; just curious about what we can do with these fruit. Let me know about it. Thanks

Well, apparently you can whiten your teeth with strawberries. I've read this many times over the years but I'm sort of afraid to try it in case it actually stains LOL Supposedly, you combine mashed strawberry with a teaspoon of baking soda and use it once a week to brush your teeth. I'm not saying it works, since I've not tried it myself, but it's written about quite widely.

I tried it and it works - it won't make my teeth snow white, but as white as they can be naturally. The problem is that we don't have strawberries whole year round, only in may and june. Freezing it is an option too though.

Hey fro zed strawberries are no more a big deal now you can always get some zip log bags of small sizes and then put strawberries in small portion in it .n m gonna surely try that strawberry whitening tip as I ve got yello stains due to iron deficiency .

Oh for sure! Strawberries are easy to freeze (and making strawberry freezer jam is also simple - delicious!). I buy extra when the local strawberry crops are more affordable. Granted, it's not the same as having fresh, firm berries but you can use the frozen ones to make smoothies and milkshakes, to serve over some nice vanilla ice cream, in baking and other recipes, etc. Very handy and wonderful flavor!

As it was a strawberries season I just used them in pie I a good strawberry chiffon pie recepie from somewhere and tried it it was too good ,amazing rich frozen desert full cream, digestive biscuits and strawberries chunks n puree. I can still feel taste it was too yum.

I have a question; when you make puree what are the necessary ingredients to create one? that's like a jam, right? If it is a puree then can we let the babies eat it as well?

I recently made strawberry banana muffins. One other way you might make a fruit salad using several kinds of fruits mix in a bowl. Its great for a snack in the middle of the day.

We can use them in cakes or ice cream too. Some people use strawberries on their face as a refreshing mask. It's also good for whitening teeth. I don't really know other uses, I usually eat them as they are or in salad.
