missing folder recovery / myLot

i would like to know,which is the best file recovery software?.i accidentally deleted some important folders from my computer.now i want to recover it.

Recuva as someone above mentioned is a wonderful program. Other ones i also will try are Filescavenger (not free) and recovermyfiles (has a free scan and if it finds something then you can recover a certain number of files. Beyond that you can choose to buy it or not.
