I appreciate all my friends I love to help people and good friends are hard to come by and I have made some life long friend on line I would not trade my appreciation for friends for anything I love each and everyone of them in my own special way.

I have just started writing on this site this week although I have been a member for a while . I have made lots of friends online though and some have come to visit and we chat all the time . I do like my online friends a LOT. I may even like them more than my so called friends off line. I appreciate them a lot and seem to interact with them better.

I have acquaintances; I have friends; I have special friends. On Line I have the same: acquaintances, friends, special friends. Not all my friends, either in person or on-line, are ones I totally agree with. In fact, I heartily disagree with some on some subjects, but they are still friends. On myLot I have met a lot of new friends and really enjoy discussions with them. Some of these have almost opposite views to mine, some have differing and some have similar, but they are all friends. On myLot we can enjoy hearty, honest, intelligent and courteous conversations. We might not always agree, but we can appreciate one another and respect one another's viewpoints. We can learn from one another. Then there are also friends we just like to be with: friends who cheer you up when you are down, or who come to you to be cheered up: friends who exude friendship and happy thoughts. That's you, Gabs. Thank you.

Certainly Gabs, especially the ones who post really intelligent and logical replies. Even though I might not agree with them on many things, they are good friends and I'd miss them if they left myLot. Then there are the ones like you who do what friends are supposed to do and visit their friend's discussions. I wonder why some people ask to be friends and then never post a response to a discussion. As an old-timer have you found that to be the case? Thanks for being a "reliable" friend and thanks for a good discussion.

I definately appreciate all my friends, and certainly those on line too. I find myself thinking about some of them even when I'm off line. LOL!

Aye, I do appreciate my on-line friends, more now with me living in a foreign country. It seems that almost all my friends back home have dropped by the wayside. They just can't seem to be bothered to get in touch. I used to pray for letters in the mail, now I don't bother because I know there won't be any. So, I look to my on-line friends for that closeness that only friends can have. If I have a problem I know I can count on my on-line friends to be there, to lend an ear......Each friend is precious for they enrich our lives.

I agree with ruby1459 i do not distingish between my friends here om mylot or my friends that i have near me, friends are friends. I have made some good friends here on mylot and i really appreciate their friendship.

Yes, I do appreciate my online friends Gabs. I met my first online friend in a Pogo games room, almost six years ago, and she's a wonderful person. Over the years, I've accumulated quite a few, but I do have a habit of selecting my friends. However, I have stuck with most of them and would stand by them through thick and thin, as I know they would I. I've personally met three of my online friends, one in the States and two in the north of England, and I would like to meet a few more. Three are threatening to come over here and meet me next year sometime, so I look forward to that. Should be fun.

I really dont have a lot of friends offline. SO I ADORE the ones I have made online!!! So many of them treat me as part of their family. It makes me feel so special. I love them all.
