What Do You Do During Holidays?

Holy Week had been observed very significantly here in my country. No wonder on the very long weekend holidays. For employed like me, these moments are supposed to be rest time but not anymore now adays because day off from work will already mean a more tiring pleasure. In my culture, it is pleasure to really be with family during holidays of course, with native food served on the table. To others, it is self-pampering. They do beauty and body relaxing things. Some simply shop because their work will not allow them to have enough time for such stuff. How about you, what do you do during holidays?

If i have a long holiday, i may go travel. If i have a short one, 2-3 days only, i prefer to wake up late in the morning, do housework and then shopping with friends or accompany with friends go to one of my friend's house to cook, eating together, after that go to sing in a karaoke room. Sometime, i do spend drinking coffee with friends also or just simply go around in my city.

How I wish for a long holidays? Yeah, longer than 3 days! A 4 hr drive is a tiring getaway for only 3 day vacation. I wished I just stayed home and do those things you mentioned, ryanong.

i have to say i do not really plan what i want to do but i just let the holiday come then i decide what to do in it, but if i want to do something during the week soemtimes i had to wait for the holiday, i like to go to different places like sea garden, books, cinema, restuarants and so on, i like to visit family and friends, eat and take a lot of food and eat them at the sea on the beach under nice sun, thats my really nicest thing to do, or go out at night for walk with family and so on i like to do alot of things

For me, holidays define beach, long drive, cards and family.
I prefer to go to beach side with my family. It's more relaxing and you can forget all the stress just by seeing the beauty of beach. My holiday is incomplete if I didn't play cards with my family.

In our country,a week ago,April2-April4,a short holiday named Tomb-sweeping day,now it is the high time to have a spring outing,we went to the tai lake and enjoining the scenery,and travel by bike ,play cards and having a talking,this is the short holiday. If i have a long holiday,i will have a long distance travel,go to other city ,even other province,may be go to other university see my old freiends.
