Overwhelmed for the Best Responses Mark!

Hi guys. I just want to share my thoughts on the matter. I hope nobody gets insulted or thinks that I am bragging, though I feel like it!
Hahaha!
I was browsing along old topics until I found an old response talking about his/her best response marks. She/he said that the 65 best responses mark makes her feel great and got me curious as to how many I got.
I was honestly overwhelmed when I viewed how many. No words can express how happy I am and how honored I am for having so many! I never counted nor realized how generous people are with me and I utterly humbled by your choices!
Whew! This just made me extra happy today! Thanks everyone! Thanks MyLot!!!

Well,laydee,umm.. I guess i'm not capable of discussing about it yet, yeah,atleast for now i'm not.Well i should say the fact that i've not got any best responses so far and i never have realised such things.I should not have opened this for a response really..
Now i don't want to spoil your extra happy mood today!Congratualtions on your so so so much best responses,Guess you'd been here for a long time in myLot.I'm sure i would get one soon and i would take time to comeback to this discussion to rejoice when i get one!It's just 13 gone and i'm sure i would get one within 30 or 40!And sure with this one though-- people are so generous because you've given them so many useful ideas and so good might have been your responses and comments lady!

Haha! No ideas of quitting this wonderful site!i'm patient enough and i'm trying my level out to give the best in each and every discussion-but some of them are merely factual questions in mylot!And thank you!

Wow - you do well! Fair play, you must be a knowledgeable, helpful and nice person (that or you're slipping someone brown envelopes lol).
As a new member, with a whole EIGHT best responses, I'm delighted. I never thought to look, thanks for pointing me in the direction

Best Responses are, as GoAskAlice once said, "Boasting Rights". What is important (and not so easy to work out) is the proportion of Best Responses to total responses. It is possible to make an approximation to this by counting your number of Best Responses (in your case, 742) and dividing by your User Rating (which counts not only responses but some comments and discussions started as well). Your 'Best Response proportion' is quite high, I should say, at 11.6%. It took me longer to count my Best Responses and my 'proportion' worked out at a little less than 40% for 4759 BRs!

No, "Best Response" has NO effect whatsoever on earnings. Of course, one might expect that the person awarding 'Best Responce' (and also others reading the discussion) might also give you positive ratings. The Discussion Rating System is 'factored in' to the earnings algorithm, we are told in the FAQs.

Hehehe.. Thanks for doing the math. I sure say it feels like a "boasting right" but I think that would have much weight if we are paid more each time we get a best response, right? hehehe.. Do they pay more with each other those? I surely didn't feel it.

Oh I didn't. I know that there have been notifications that someone chose my answer to be best response but I never really took the time to count. Then lo and behold when I did try to count, I could no longer count them all! whew!
Isn't it just great? I don't really know if they have huge factors for the earnings (I doubt they have) but still it feels great, doesn't it? hehehe..

I was not also paying attention to how many best responses I had. I even thought that I was not even capable of producing the best response because there are already a lot of mylotters here who comment real good. As in real good. But then I checked, using the best responses tab, which is very handy by the way, and found out that I got three!!!
I know its was not many, but I am very happy with it. First, because I was not even expecting it. I just comment what I think and did not even thought that I posted the best response.

Oh isn't it just wonderful? We do our thing and we fail to realize that a lot are enjoying our posts! Hehehhe.. Most of these are really unexpected and I am rally grateful. Thanks for the wishes and I hope we all get more of these 'appreciations'.

It is good that you have a lot of best responses since you already posted thousands here in mylot. For now, i am not good in earning best responses because i got only three and i am not expecting really that someone will gave me another. :) i am just enjoying commenting other's posts.

True enough! I think the surprise comes when you least expect it. I don't really count them but it sure feels great when someone decides to give you the BR rate. Don't worry about the 3, surely you'll be shocked that the numbers would rise and be amazed how many you get in the end.

Nah, don't worry about it. I wasn't expecting these as well. I guess over time when you get to express yourself more and people know you (well at least your posts) then perhaps they'd find your thoughts appealing and reward you with it. You still have a few posts, so don't worry about it. But sure is neat to get rewarded like this :)
Good luck and don't quit! Try making each post matter so that people would see you are true to your words! Enjoy and thanks for the greetings!

I'm very grateful with the ones I received. Especially when there are so many other responses, and mine was chosen. I do keep an eye on each one I receive, only because I'd like to let the one who's giving it to me know that it's much appreciated.

..Feeling the sense of pride for us, human beings. I know so many different people, kind people, angry people, evil, bad and sad people, but my faovurite ones are people like you, people who can get happy over other people.
