Do you have to be in the mood to myLot?

I generally wake up, get some coffee and get right on myLot in the morning. Rarely do I start discussions but had the urge this morning to ask if you have to be in the mood to visit myLot and be active. My mornings are better as far as using my thinking cap and making every attempt to respond to discussions. Have a great day!

After doing all my morning routine, Have my breakfast with me then watch tv for morning news while watching it, I am also online to my favorite best sites www.mylot.com since I started here recently so this would be a big part of my day, and I like to be here cause I like reading, I like commenting and I like to give good ideas and share my thoughts to every discussions that I'm with. We are all learning and earning here and at the same time so its fun to be here and enjoying to be here in mylot, Have a great day:):):)

I ususally get on after work...in the morning on my days off then I usually check in..but for some reason I can only do it so long then I get somewhat bored....not to say you are boring but if there's not alot of discussions that pique my interest then I get bored easily.

hi carolbee not me I am an avid mylotter and start most every day mylotting. guess I am always in the mood to mylot. i did cave in
this morning and return to bed after our 7 am breakfast and falling asleep sitting there when I should have been eating. some things I
have to be in the mood for but not mylotting. making discussions yes as I want mine to be good and top quality to make people want to
read them and respond. I am best in the evenings as I am not an early morning person at all. lol

Yes,I generally have to be in the mood to post here on myLot,so if I feel bored with it and I don't have a very good day I prefer to leave it and return to it when I feel more inspired and in a better mood.I prefer not to force myself to post here when I don't feel like doing it because I want myLot to remain a pleasant experience for me and an enjoyable way to detach myself for a while from the daily stress of social life.

Hi Carolbee...Im mylotting before going to bed sometime from 8pm to 11pm or sometime 12 midnight on holiday, and I also mylotting in the morning like between 7-8am or 10-11am that is before my class started. It is nice to mylot when Im in a good mood, but sometime I use mylot as a way to release my stress..so it can work both way that im not always in good mood when Im on mylot and also when Im in a good mood. I feel so much better after posting and commenting on mylot, and I always 1-2 bottle of water to accompany me mylotting because I dont often drink coffee.

I don't need to be in the mood to be enjoying in myLot. I just feel at home whenever I am here. I don't have a fixed time to come here but I will when I am free. I will read what discussions my friends have posted. If I feel I have something to say about any topic then I will response. I take myLot as a way to relax from the stresses of life. So there is no need for me to "get ready" for myLot.

I come to myLot to relax or when I'm too tired to concentrate on serious work. It breaks the routine, and I know there's always going to be someone to talk to. I respond to any responses first, and then I started looking through my emails to find the discussions I most want to respond to. I confess to starting with the last posted ones because there normally won't be more than two pages to read on those. I dont' feel under any pressure here, since I'm among friends. Sometimes when I'm very tired nothing really grabs me and I might just pick one or two friends's discussions to respond to. If I have a nice block of free time and nothing pressing to do with it, I might spend and hour here.
Right now I'm here because I'm taking a break from taxes. When I"m working on taxes, I'm in the mood to do almost anything else.

Yes, I have to. Some days I just come and read the discussions, but even though i find many of them interesting, I just find it hard to reply to any of them. Then on other days I find that I have an opinion about anything and I can express my thoughts much better. So yes, I definitely need to be in a mood to mylot.

I mostly don't visit mylot when i do not have something to post, in general, when i am not in the mood. Nowadays, i do not visit mylot everyday so that i can rest my mind in thinking what to post. So that the next day, i can now post many discussions and comment to discussions. :)

I don't generally have a set time to be on myLot, though it's usually in the afternoon on days I'm not working and evenings if I am. I really do have to be in the mood to sit down and type endlessly though as there are so many discussions that I know I'll enjoy contributing to and often a few discussions I feel like starting. There are some evenings where I simply can't be bothered to log on as I know from experience I'll check responses to my own threads and not even have the will to respond to them.

In my own opinion you don't need to be in the mood to make or respond in the discussions in MyLot. For me whenever I feel to visit, I will. I only do the things that I can only do, I just enjoy making and responding discussion cause I feel it's just a social network sharing ideas, thoughts, beliefs, feeling, and visions.

Yes, I do have to be in the mood for mylot or I get a little grouchy with my responces. Mostly just lately I'm like that. Might be some of my meds, but I think it's also because I've had to try to push myself to do so much lately.

I am able to mylot almost all of the time. There are only a few circumstances that I can think of where I don't want to be on mylot at all. Those times that I don't want to be on here are typically when the kids are driving my batty or when my husband is really getting on my nerves.
However, I do try to spend at least a little bit of time on here every day because of the fact that I want to try to make my payout every month.

There really does seem to be a certain mindset for me to go into myLot. It is not like a switch that I can flick on and off at will. I do wish it was, but it really isn't. There are just times where I am just not feeling the myLot thing right now. I am not in the proper mood. That is not a slight on this website by any means but it is just that I'm not up to it.
Therefore, it does take a while for me to really get going, really get my thoughts going. I do think that the mindset will vary for some people. If no distractions are present and the weather is rather moderately well, than I think the discussions can flow right from the finger tips. But there are just some mornings and days where it cannot be helped and should not be forced. Writing has everything to do with moods.

Good response. I can be influenced by the weather as well. I generally turn off the computer if we have bad weather warnings just like later on today or tonight. We get such intense lightening and thunder here in the midwest. I also have better brain power in the morning which is when I visit myLot the most. Thanks for responding.

I really do understand. When I want to comment on a discussion but think my response is dumb, I return at a later time and try again. I am surprised how my thoughts change as the day moves on. Late at night I just can't focus. Thanks for responding.
