Oh, my gosh! I wish I had a dime for every time I say all those things my mom used to say to me! Stuff I swore I would never say! LOL ..... and you have me beat by only two years! I'm coming up on that big number soon too!

Cynthiann!! So great to see you! With my son graduating HS this year, I'm starting to realize how fast the years have flown. I am understanding and respecting my own mother with every year that passes!

I sure know that feeling. Who is that person in the mirror. Guess what it doesn't get better, start to worry when you look and see no one there. Blessings

Well, I am getting older too, but since I do not look like my mom (not almost) looking at the mirror won't help telling me if I get old (hehehe) Maybe once I become a grandma, that will be the time I can tell myself- I am really that old :p

I do not know how old your are but after 30 most women experience this phenomenon. It does not mean we are so old; it just means when we are more tired, worried or sleepy our face and gaze do not readjust so quickly as in our 20's. Our faces are not so flexible any more. And after certain age we are more responsible for our outlook than we were young. I just mean young people can show their best outlook even if they do not make any efforts for it, because youth is beautiful in itself. Anyway, young people are equally responsible for their appearance all the more so as untidy young will become untidy old. But they are not so much aware of this as they will be at senior age. While you have the impression of looking so old as your Mom, you should not worry. This is just the question of mood. When you will reach senior age your main concern will be to reflect the beauty of your soul or matured personality and to appear neat and tidy when you step out of your home.

Ha, you have to look in the mirror to know that you're getting older? My 'little one' is my mirror. The difference between your mirror and mine is that, my mirror talks to me. For example, my daughter began to speak as early as six months old. Having being observant, no sooner that she spotted the first strand of grey hair on my hand, she shouted "Daddy you're old!" She pointed to my hand and said, "Daddy your're greying, your're old!" Anyway, such is life.
