It's past midnight and i'm still on mylot. I'm not on here usually at this time because i'd be snoring then. But here i am now, still wide awake and not a sign of sleepiness at all. How come?
My day was a boring one. First i woke up late since i hadn't slept well the other night. Went to the bank and meet my friend, came home to pick my son up for his swimming lessons and then it rained to my dismay.
Rain means no longboard. So we went home, i took a nap for two hours and had dinner. Then i worked and now i'm still on here.
Now i need me some pills to help me sleep, but i wouldn't. I just need to be tired and then soon i'll be snoring.

i used sleeping tablets from the doctor once... they were dreadful. they made me sick and i don't think they put me to sleep at all. however, i did get herbal tablets once from the chinese medical shop, and they were fantastic :)

Hello there Princess! I'm scared of sleeping pills with or without prescription. I don't know why but i feel much better not taking any.
I would prefer a warm glass of milk but last night i was just too lazy to go down and prepare milk for myself. Me and my lazy bones.

well these herbal ones were quite good.. but i can see your fear of them. alot of people are.
warm milk is good.. also a long hot soak in the tub :)
and lavender on your pillow is good too! :)

Maybe your nap was too long? Pills are not the answer, I know that. There are too many side effects.
I couldn't sleep last night either. I went to bed a little early, went to sleep for a couple of hours and then woke up and was awake until I could hear the birds greeting the new day.

I'm not someone who likes popping pills and i have never taken any. I fell asleep at two am and woke up at 9 in the morning. I didn't feel tired and in fact was productive all day.

hi toniganzon I have bouts of semi insomnia amd have to go back to bed after breakfast and sleep for three hours. then I feel out of sorts the rest of the day. I know I am not getting enough sleep even if I am 85 as I feel like falling asleep while sitting here typing
tonight. My doctor does not like sleeping pills as he says they are all too addictive bu t I think I do need to see him about this. maybe its that I am sitting here all day typing and not getting any physical exercise. but I hate taking that walker out and just walking up and down the sidewalk. I am 85 not a hundred and five.
I feel asleep this afternoon sitting in the visitors lounge while the damned tV was obn an old old Gunsmoke episode. maybe a nap in the afternon would do better olfr me..

Well, try skipping the 2 hour evening nap, which can really reduce your night tiredness to sleep well.Do not take coffe or tea after 8pm and try to get tired in the evening , so at night u can sleep better.Maybe warm milk , or good book to read to doze off.Usually if your cannot sleep in 30minute time, then better not sleep and do something else.

That only happened last night. I usually sleep before 12 midnight. But last night i took a nap and that made me stay awake longer than usual. But when i awoke today i felt refreshed and did so many things and i'm still not tired now.

Hey, thanks. I slept at 2am and woke up at 9. I woke up feeling ok. I wasn't tired all day and in fact i cleaned my room, rearranged the furniture and went longboarding.
Now i'm still not feeling sleepy and maybe i'll sleep at 12 midnight or earlier.

Hi toni. To me rains no matter how hard it is, is not a problem. I can still go on biking in the rain. I think biking in the rain is better although it might be a slightly dangerous as the roads get very slippery.
