Today, 100 years ago, was when the Titanic was launched and today (April 10th) descendants of those who were on the ship had a memorial service at the Southampton dock where it was launched from.
Southampton lost the most with 549 souls dying in the tragedy. A recording of the Titanic's whistle was also played across the docks at noon - the exact moment the liner left its mooring with around 650 relations of the dead paid tribute.
Saturday is the 100th Anniversary of the sinking.

That is eerie....I have always loved finding out as much as I can about the Titanic...there is kind of a romance about what happened....the luxury..all the things that surrounded the sinking....My parents had a copy of the first book written about it....my nephew is now the owner of the book..

Wow!! I knew this was a big Celebration, and that is why they have re-released the movie in 3D, but can you imagine being one of the relatives, or having a chance to be there in this rememberance. What a tragic time this was, and there has been a lot to be learned from it.

NO WONDER, they are launching a 3D version of TITANIC on cinemas this month. Titanic, is really phenomenon, even person's who doesn't like watching movies know it. It's an inspiring movie about LOVE and COURAGE.
