Ever since, I am fond of reading. I am always excited of my new books every school year. I love books with lots of images and pictures. Reading has been one of my favorite past time. My concern now is that there are so many things to read now. I don't have enough to read them all or focus on them.
You see I have my small library of books I bought at bookstores, also books from my brother's collection of books. Aside from books, there are also newspapers, magazines, novels or pocketbooks, e-books, free articles all over the internet and lots of interesting blogs. Aside from that sometimes I spend a long time reading discussions here in MyLot. I have also downloaded Kindle ebooks. Of so many things to read now and catch my attention, I cannot focus really on one book and I cannot finish the book now.
What takes your time reading now?

I love books too and I have a very vast virtual library of e-books.
I just find ebooks convenient so that's why as of now I prefer
ebooks than real books even though I want to have real books too.

Someday if I get enough money, I will build my own real library
and I will buy all my favorite books. I just opt for ebooks
right now because they're cheaper and much convenient.
Real books costs real money.

I have found I cannot really get into reading on a nook or kindle. I cannot focus on a screen very well and have troubles finishing what I read. I bought a book that I already had on the nook and devoured it no time in paper. I think the screen just is too... flashy or something for me.

Oh that is true though we have nook or kindle now, it cannot replace the traditional paper books. Anyway we have so many ways to satisfy our reading pleasure now.

Yes, sometimes we can be busy. I need to get organized to finish what I am reading!

I read mainly novels and I have about 350 novels sitting on my to-read list now. If only I could manage to finish 1 book per day, it would take almost a year to read them all
Reading is a lot of fun, and I am glad that I have tons of books to read

I understand you... especially in that sense that I'm a reader, and I follow lots of publishers and authors on facebook and stuff, I see the adverts and commertcials for books, I read reviews and go to lectures, and I face soooo many books that I want to read... so many good books, so little time, so little money-books are ridiculously overpriced sometimes, and I live from a budget. Now I take books from my parents' little "home library"...

I'm a blog person and I love responding and commenting on my friend's blogs. I have a vast collection of dog-related books because I love dogs. Now, with those set aside, I am also a fan of Christopher Pike and Robin Cook. I've bought some from the bookstore yet I had not found the time to read them.
So right now, I am just taking it one step at a time. Whenever I can find time to sit in front of the computer, I check out blogs. Whenever I just want to sit on the bed and prop myself on all those soft pillows, I grab a dog book and start reading until I get sleepy.
