I removed the memory card of the phone to transfer some files thru PC because I will be using Card Reader when I return it back. All the messages on my phone was gone. Totally gone. The text messages that I treasured for so long was also deleted. I don't know how I can retrieve it back. Some of the important text that I kept for so long was also gone. My phone was totally start to zero. What's left to me is my contact numbers.

The messages are probably in the memory card. Insert it back, who knows they are there. Have you done that?

Is the memory corrupted? Or has been inserted into another phone?

That´s extrange, because messages usually are stored in the phone memory, and not in the memory card, if they were in the memory card, I recommend you to go to a Nokia dealer, they can restore your data, I´d think twice, before I use something I download from the web on my phone.

I do, recently I had a virus on my E63, and, before I download an antivirus on the web, I decided to take the phone to the Nokia care center, they cleaned the phone, and the dealer help me with the antivirus, i am sure they can help you to retrieve data from the memory card,

these are the reasons I don't use "Nokia" brand cell phones. I like to use Samsung. Nokia has always been a cheap brand. but I hope you find a solution to your problem. I've never used a memory card in my cell phones but I just haven't had a real reason to need one.

Maybe you stored your text messages through your memory card and when you transfer it on your pc it has all there. Try to check your file in where you put to transfer. Maybe it is all there.

That's why you lost them because you already transfer it in your PC.

hehe don't worry i think your messages may have not been deleted. it must have been saved in your memory card. the thing you need to do is go messages and go to setting in messages there must be an option in other or in setting of you messages that saved messages. choose there memory card instead phone memory. you will have back your messages because after removing memory card your phone choose phone memory to save messages. so now go to messages setting and change it memory card and problem will be solved. have a nice day.
