How to reduce stress in your life?

I've been observing lately that I'm always stressed out.I feel so tired after work. I'm working in the hospital and we were always busy. I even cannot eat my lunch.The cases of our patient this week are for close monitoring and there were folks who always complain about some things that out of our control. Then here comes some doctors who are hard to deal with. It feels like I want to quit or i can't take this stress anymore.How about you?have you ever experienced being stressed out?How did you handle this?What did you do to reduce stress in your life?

I used to be in stress a long time, and it was not easy for me to get out of stress. I remember it was my hard time. I often thought so negative, couldn't work well, couldn't sleep well, etc...I used to think i should go to see a doctor but at that time i didn't know where do i go to see a doctor for my stress. Finally, I decided to leave a school, i did nothing for 2-3 months when i was back vietnam. I tried to go travel, did whatever i want, i like. And finally, thank God, my thought is positive back. I like to work again, contact with friends and going out with them again. Right now, whenever i get stress of work or something else, I try to get out of it immediately, i really don't want a long stress coming back to me again as last time.

I have been stressed out but since I started to exercise like running I have a lesser experience into that, Exercising can decrease stress hormones like cortisol, and increase endorphins, and our body feels good chemicals, which will give you a mood for natural boost. I do run at least 1 hour a day so this will help you.

yes, i do. it is part of our lives and work. we cannot completely prevent it though we can minimize it. i am stress at works and other problems but i don't worry much because i have the best stress reliever in the world, that is my little son. i am blessed to have him in my life that is why i can survive all the problems and stress that comes my way. also, i always think positive so all the positive things will happen. i can't prevent bad things though but i leave them all to God fro i trust Him with all my heart.

Yes, infact, it came to a point that I got sick and had to deal with a urinary track infection and the flu. One of the things I do when I feel that I'm beginning to get stressed out is to stop myself and take a whole minute to just breathe in and breathe out slowly. Sometimes, doing this simple exercise can dramatically help keep your body from going into a hyperactive state. A hyperactive state can sometimes lead to digestive problems as well. One more thing I do is to reward myself daily- may it be treating myself with my favorite juice drink, eating ice cream or pizza or simply sleeping longer than I normally do.

whenever i get tired and stress, i listen to music. the kind of music i listen are slow rock, mellow songs and hail songs(especially the song entitled Lord i offer my life and you are my world). Hope i was able to help you have a nice day tinjan

Personally I can relate with work Stress, and have been there many times. I can also relate with some people being hard to work with in the Medical field, as I as a patient have been experiencing that a lot, and for some reason even more so lately. It makes me wonder if life is that hard, then why are they doing it? For me, the thing that tends to help the most is just being able to get somewhere quiet, and relax, take my mind off of things, and Pray. Personally talking a little with God even if it is not a quick fix in the end could be your best friend.

I feel so stessed out,too.Cause i'm gonna having an exam next weekend.It really means a lot to me so i have to really make myself nervous.Anyway,let it be and i should adjust myself to it.Try to think about something really positive and make yourself motivated.

We always stress everyday. I used to be stress and tired of work most of the time but once that Im out in the office,I will never think of work anymore and just enjoy life,relax and take a rest for awhile.

when i am in stress, i will listen to music. but if i found that i still cannot release the stress, i will scream loudly (of course i am not screaming at home, lol) but i will choose some places, where when the plane fly over, and i scream to release my stress. after scream it out, will really feel comfortable =)

Well, working in a hospital can be incredibly stressful job. In your free time you should do the thinks that you enjoy and makes you fell good. When I'm stressful I listen to music and just do nothing. I can suggest you to take some days off and go to a vacation or something. If you don't have that time you could run a bath with a few drops of essential oil, such as lavender, to soothe aching muscles. You can meet with friends and just be optimistic. Think of ways to turn difficulties into opportunities.

How to reduce stress in life? For me, all I need to do is doing some sports, like baskerball and football, it works well for me!

Take time to rest, enjoy a walk on the park, smell the flowers or go to a picnic with friends and family. Life is not just all about working. All work and no play makes life dull and boring, that is what I believe though. I guess doing little things that would delight you all throughout a busy day would also work, I've done it quite several times when I'm working on something and even when I'm a bit pressured. Well, I guess it all depends on how you deal with it though, bottom line is for you to enjoy while working. I hope this helps! Enjoy your day! :)

Right now, I am also very stressful. I really stress to my life now. My life is too complicated, and very confusing. I faced many problems, and made ??me very stressed. It is very difficult for me to relieve the stress that I experienced. In fact, I've had to go to a psychiatrist, to get rid of my depression. Right now, to relieve stress, I do the things I love. Such as, open internet, and logged in MyLot. That way, I can forget all the problems, which leads me to stress, and depression.

Hello Tinjan11, I too sometime feel stress and anxiety especially because my hectic schedulle or when I have problem that I cannot handle. I thinkt the best way to reduce stress is to find out what is the main cause of the stress, by knowing the root of our stress then we can find a way to cure it or to get relaxation to refresh our mind, if we have a fresh mind and soul then we can work better. The way I reduce my stress: - I enjoy my hobby, I love crafting, crocheting & knitting. and I ever read in a magazine that crafting can help us to reduce stress and to be more focus with what we are doing. It is also help us to be creative. I love sitting in the back of my veranda and listening music while playing with the yarn and crochet hook to make something. It is a nice way to release my stress or anger. - Swimming, travelling or to go shopping: I found out that swimming or doing exercise can help us to have a fresh body and also it can make our mind fresh so we can solve our problem. I like travelling, going to the beach or historical place or just windows shopping. It is nice to travel and if you notice when we visit a tourism place we can see the happy looks of the people who enjoy their vacation. I think to be surrounded with people who looks happy can influence us and to reduce our stress. - Having conversation with other people, for example talking on mylot share your experience, your opinion, your knowledge or your problem to get advice. It is nice to let out what you feel inside and to hear valuable advices from other people. We will feel so much lighter after leting out our heavy burden. I know to work in hospital is not easy and you have a heavy duty, but always remember that the patient needs you and about the doctors maybe they are also as stress as you, because they worry about their patient's condition and also Im sure they want the best for the patients. I wish the best for you and hope you to reduce your stress. dont forget to take care your own healthy because many people needs you. Just remember their smile when they get well. Hope it work.
