Hi mylot friends! have you experienced not to pay your bills on time? or you did not settle your bills at all? i just want to know what are the possible things that would happen if i don't settle my accounts ie; postpaid plan. because my postpaid plan is giving me a burden now. they charged me for almost 4,000 peso in 3 weeks and i do not know what will happen if i do not settle my account on time because i do not have enough money.

I think for a postpaid plan, you will need to pay a termination fee if you are within the contract period and you are still required to pay the monthly fee even if it is terminated because you are within contract. I had this with one of my postpaid plans. Too bad.

they would basically cut your service off if I am guessing correctly are you in ph? if yes all our networks doesn't offer installment plans and they forward you to collections which takes a while for them to bug you I am not encouraging but I had my bill cut off paid a year a 6 months later for the amount bigger than yours. within those times if you apply to any card company related to the provider you get declined nothing else gets disconnected you won't even get a subpoena again I am just telling my experience and not encouraging such behaviour. as for the illegal net charges... that won't go away

we're facing the same problem. my postpaid plan had stopped for several months and just my line was reconnected monday evening. and i found it hassle for having no connection. i can't call my mom, my pap, my hubby and i the worst i can't even receive messages. and it's also hassle calling customer service requesting for reconnection.

gosh that's so bad. even though you requested for re connection, you still have problems with your line.and it's really true that it is hassle to call customer service. you have to wait long for someone to answer your call.

hahaha! maybe they have many callers that are complaining too. that's why the ratio of the representatives cannot accommodate the callers. LOL!

yes! you're so right. i called the customer service thrice. the first time i gave them a ring one of the representative said that they will process it and i should wait 24hours. after the 24hours nothing happens. it took 1 week before my line has been connected. i don't know what's wrong with their 24 hours(LOL).

In my country, they will black list your name if you don't settle your outstanding in demanding time. But I don't know what are the rules in your country. You can pay a part of sum if you don't want to pay full. That way you can still use your postpaid plan. As I see 4,000 peso is a lot of money, you must settle your overdue as soon as possible.

I think here too. they will black list my name if i do not pay it at all. actually i haven't received my bill statement it's not yet generated according to them so chances are that 4,000 pesos will still grow until the end of the month.

wongchoiyee is right maybe you can pay it partially. that is what i did my last billing statement is 3,583 pesos. so i paid the part sum of the total amount. but once you're line is being disconnected and you paid part sum your line would still remain disconnected

Some postpaid plans stopped working when they don't pay their bills on time. You will not be able to make a call or sms messages starting on the due date. I don't know for some providers if they do the same. I am in prepaid right now.
On some bills like electric bills, credit cards, a penalty charge will be implemented. Sometimes agent will call you about your credit card balance and prompt you to settle it so that you can continue use your card.

yes i think it will be stopped. or if not, my bill is going on even if i don't use it. the bill just gets bigger and bigger. and also they might give me hidden charges if i will not pay on time right. but it's really a burden on my part that for 3 weeks only, they charged me 4,000 because my packet data keeps on running and i was not advised by that agent that it is essential upon starting the phone. ;(

I see. I think you better stop your postpai plan now and have a prepaid. You can register there for unlimited surfing for a day or two. You will not have the worry if you did not turned off your packet data surfing.

hi there,
wow that is a big amount for a postpaid plan hehe. i haven't experienced any of that. i don't like monthly bills and as much as possible i get things and pay in cash right away. i don't even like installments.
when do you plan to pay them then? i hope you can pay soon because they might cut your connection off. just try to save up some money and if you still can't afford o pay then maybe yo can ask for help from people you know.
