I've been working in this company for almost 2years. But I'm still a casual employee, our HRD said that my paper is with the executives for approval. That was way back 3months ago. This month our supervisor said that, we will be regular employees before the end of the month. When my first few months go by I still dream of being a regular employee, just to try the different kinds of "leave" available for an employee.
Its almost two year has passed since I was employed here in the company and I'm still a casual employee my dream of being a regular employee disappeared. I'm now satisfied on being a casual employee until I resign from this company. I'm happy with this company specially with my co-workers that can make a difference in a day. I hope that all be alright before the month end.

I think you must be regular employee by now as stated in the Labor Law. However, I think, if you are signing contract each year or before the year ends, it will not cover your regularization. Working for two years in a company without regularization, there must be really a problem in your company. Here in our company, 6 months will only take for a new employee to be classified as regular. Before the end of 6th month, our HRD will give the head of the department an evaluation form for the new employee and will get the decision if he/she will go for regularization.
I hope that you will be promoted as regular employee before the end of the month rather than going to resign. It s hard to find a job nowadays.

I noticed that you are from the Philippines. You just brought out a potential labor concern because insofar as Philippine laws are concerned, a company can only keep casual employees up to a year. After a year of continuous or interrupted service with an employer, the said 'casual' or 'temporary' worker is deemed to be a regular employee. So if you say you have been with the company for 2 years already without regularizing your employment, there is something wrong and I do hope your employer would address that concern.

Well, it is really hard to find a full time formal job in this intense competitive soceity. As you have said, it has been almost 2 years since you began working in this company. Thank godness, you are happy with your co-workers. Don't feel upset, and keep on working hard, i think your executives will see it. Finally you will become a regular employee and enjoy rights as others.

hi! Well it's very sad that for 2 years, you are still a casual employee in your company. you know sometimes a company saves more if it has few regular employees. in my office, i was employed here for almost 2 months and what my problems here are,i do not have benefits as of this moment. and i'm hoping to get those benefits after this month so that i would not resign immediately.

It is quite sad when you are still casual employee after 2 years working in that company. I think many guys have a same situation like you because of a company policy. However, it is very nice when you are happy when work with your co-workers. You still have a hope becoming a regular employee till the end of this month. Don't give up your hope, be positive...
I hope you will be a regular employee soon.

Hi. Being a casual employee is difficult because some employers are Scrooges in giving them benefits. It's a good thing that you're also enjoying your job there since it makes a lot of difference in your working outlook.
I'm hoping that by the end of this month you will become a regular as well. The leaves and the benefits are just one of the perks. The best part is that feeling of security since regular employees no longer need to renew their contracts.
I wish you all the best.
