Positions at the Associate professor level are available in Laboratory for Biosensing, a multi-disciplinary research group in Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy & Bioprocess Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, located in Qingdao, a liveable coastal city in China. The requirements are below: 1. A PhD degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Prorein Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry, Biosensing, Physical Chemistry, Nano Science & Nanotechnology or related subject; 2. Research experience in one of fields such as biomacromolecule-based design, construction & functinalization, microbial (bacterium, phage or yeast) surface display, biofuel cell, biosensors & bioelectronics, microarray especially protein microarray or sugar microarray, gene expression and regularion, protein engineering, nanoscale self-assembly, and/or development of nano-bio materials for various applications; 3. Two-year postdoc experience; 4. Proven track records; 5. Strong interest and innovative ability to solve problems; 6. Interpersonal and communication skills to work on collaborative projects within and across teams in a highly productive environment.
