Thin girls are popular with all boys?

Hey you could have a thin girl like a stick insect with zero personality and very selfish and there are a few that are like that are they still attractive to the thin girls? Big girls can be the same! I bet not if they found out they were only going out with them for their money..lol I rest my case. He should not be basing his feelings on looks alone. There has to be a personality in there somewhere.

I do believe that men are truly capable of liking and loving girls who are not thin. On the other hand, I think many men have been brainwashed and convinced by cultures and media that glorify the thinner gals with perfectly shaped bodies. Men are essentially trained and conditioned to long for those girls and strive in that direction. Certainly that is unfortunate. Just because a girl has the perfect body type does not mean she will be someone he can love. With so many people (both men and women) being over weight, I think people would move away from the false ideals.

I don't think so. I know men who are not so much into thin girls in general. It's rather a question of self confidence... It seems that those who feel comfortable with their body, are found to be attractive. We should accept our body and love ourselves first.

Maybe not thin, but pretty girls are generally more popular with guys. This is an over-generalization, but it's true. People do care a lot about personality though, but usually for a relationship to start people find someone that they're attracted to, and then wait to see see if they have chemistry between them(like if they also have a good personality). Being thin is just a trait that is considered pretty, but you don't have to be thin to be pretty. Just like you don't have to be pretty to be popular. But as I said, prettier people have a higher chance of being popular. For me personality matters 60-70%, while looks matter 40-30%. Honestly depends on the person. Sorry if I rambled!

Everything is relative and everyone is unique,so we needn't to change our personality,someone like thin girl and someone like plump girl,but i think your brother is good for you ,he wish you become more popular than before,after all,thin and fashion girl is more attractive .

Hiya jricky, Could be that your brother falls in love with another different type of girl altogether it is usually the norm. Now the way he actually thinks will change in time I noticed this with my kids at one age they thought the same now they have changed over time. Me personally I did not have one type of boy that I liked in particular except for the really big headed ones those were off my list for a start off. But the truth is that I could have fallen in love with one of those big heads did I? well something like that and we are still together. Hope you find your ideal boyfriend though. Really the boys that I did not want to go out with were that way inclined to show off all the time its just that this one was different from the rest of those kind lol.xxx
