I have seen similarity on both famous league title race this season.. United had ever left with wide gaps of points from City but they proven as experience team to maintain lead with over 8 points and almost certain to win the EPL title this season, very unlikely to see them slip while City has many problem to get back to their strong performance like they have shown at half of season...
La liga has similarity, while Barca has ten points behind Madrid and many people in doubt with their title hope but again Guardiola shown his strength and now close the gap becomes one points from Madrid..And people waiting for the El-classico match between them which can be decided the winner..How about you with this co incidence?

It is really make all of the fan curious to know the score with big tight gap with a single or just two points only. I enjoy watch the game which really having a big fight in every league even in series A too between Juventus and AC Milan.

Yes, the title chase this season is really similar. The only difference is that Barcelona never had a 8 odd point lead on Real Madrid like Man City had. Now the difference at the top is 4 points in La Liga and 5 points in EPL. With both the trailing teams having a game at home against their title contenders!!
Cheers!

Not only that, you have to include the Serie A where AC Milan led with some points only to be reel in by Juventus. I would like to think these close title race make the league interesting till the end of the season. Imagine what a bored scenario it will be if the title is wrapped up with 5 games more to go.

They would have been in a very similar situastion had City held the gap to United as those two teams still have to meet at the Etihad stadium on the penultimate game of the season too. However, La Liga has always been a two horse race, it has only been in the last third of the season that the PL has become between City & United, at one point there were five teams within touching distance at the top which then turned into a 3 horse race but since then Spurs have dropped away.
I think it has been the same situation as previous years of the premier league being much more competitive then the same old 2 horse race for the la liga crown

Well you are right, La Liga has been dominated by those Real Madrid and Barcelona for so long..Even they has good plan to meet in Champion league final, however their plan seems not that easy since both of them were lost in their first game. Madrid was lost over Chelsea and Barca by muenchen, the good thing is the second leg will be held at their home..
The manchester rivalry seems would be ended soon before wigan ruin United comfort level, now only five points between them and City with duet tevez and aguero are on fire seems still deserve to win the title, if they beat United definetely would be better...

I thought Manchester city would win this time round after their tremendous start at the beginning of the season. Barcelona too disappointed me a little with the ten points behind real Madrid but this is a game where the best teams have to win no matter how we feel. It was quite a similarity that was easily noticed.

I think in spanish league Real madrid and Barca rules and have been in first and second spots for past 4 years and they are dominating. But in english premiere league you cannot predict till the end who wins. Its there even in matches. Even though Manu won last 2 premiere league titles, they were all near wins and this title race would have been near if Mancity would have tried differently by playing there subs and reserves. They always go with first 11 in every match and so players are tired and they need rest. Mancini is looking to win in great margin and so he even substitutes regular players and unlike manutd where alex ferguson who gave chance and rest to almost every single player this season has started dominating at the end. After all see who is more experienced. And in epl i think more than 7 teams are capable of lifting the trophy right now if they wouldnt have tasted defeats against bottom teams this season.

I don't see too many similarities between the two leagues except for the fact that the title race was fought between only two teams in both competitions.Things are almost settled in England where Manchester City, despite its 6-1 thrashing of its rivals and a team which in my opinion is better individually than Manchester United, lost valuable points against weaker teams;it's too bad things happened this way because it would have been great to have an exciting title decider between the two Manchester teams at the end of the season. From this point of view, the last rounds of the Spanish league are much more exciting after the draws made by Real Madrid which gave hope to Barca fans again.Anyway, while in England we have more teams that have potential to become title contenders in the following seasons,in Spain the difference between the two giants and the rest of the teams has become so huge that it will probably take many years until another team manages to threaten the supremacy of Barca and Real, and that is in my opinion another major difference between the two leagues.

There certainly are similarities. Taking a closer look, don't you think José Mourinho and Roberto Mancini looked quite alike? They are both handsome and stylist in their dressing. And famously (some say notoriously)they both can really talk!
But can Barcelona do an United? Guardiola is trying. With Messi and co, Barcelona is fully capable of accumulating points. While Real Madrid is struggling NOT to drop anymore points. It looks like the La Liga is more exciting than the EPL at this stage of the season.
