I like to drink brandy, now normally I like to put cola/coke in with my brandy to drink it with. now I have actually gone off fizzy drinks but want to still drink some brandy, so my question is apart from drinking the brandy neat what could I add to the brandy that is "NOT" fizzy.
Thank you so my mylotters

I drink brandy only occasionally, when there are special occasions or when we go outing like last Friday when we went swimming as part of our yearly company summer outing. I just drink it plain and chilled with a glass of cold water beside me. My favorite brand is " Fundador" an inexpensive brandy imported from Spain

yes, and sometimes it's just what we were used to drinking, and what the whole gang has been used to, in the Philippines "Fundador" is the most requested among the imports although we have local brands like "Emperador" and "Matador", much , much cheaper, which I seldom or never drink at all ( except when that is what everyone else is drinking)

Well I would rather have the expensive one but it does cost a lot of money, and since i do like the cheap one means I can drink brandy more often. I did try a dearer cheap one and it was not as good so went back to the really cheap one. Have the dear one at Christmas time

Being a teetotaler I cannot help you there, although I did want to say I am glad you and your hubby and kids got to go swimming! As for the fizzy drinks, the only kind I indulge in are plain seltzer or my favorite summer cooler which is 1/3 grapefruit juice, 1/3 tonic water, and 1/3 plain seltzer over ice. Mmmmm.

Well being a huge lover of brandy in cider I owuld suggest that. I put it in either apple, pear, or spiced apple ciders. I also drink it in iced tea. To tell you the truth I have never had it in a fizzy drink..lol
I like to try new drinks (not to sound too much like an alcholic..) but I like this website when I am looking for new drinks.

Hello there,
I have some apple juice in the cupboard, so brandy and apple juice does sound nice, cider is fizzy but not the apple juice.
I do like to drink vodka as well... just side stepping for a wee mo,until I went off fizzy drinks I would drink vodka two ways, either with coke/cola and I like vodka with orange juice, but I don't think brandy and orange juice sounds quite right, but apple and brandy sounds real good.
Thank you very much for the good idea

I do not get fermented cider so it is not fizzy at all but has more texture to it then juice.

Personally I am not a brandy type of person, I like the sweet drinks, such as Kahlua, Bailey even pina colada and/or strawberry daquiri's. I don't know I never did like the taste of it, however my brother in law likes to add the RedBull drink to it.

I don't drink, but here people put juice in some things or cider or coconut milk. That's mostly with vodkah which you can put anything in.

I have tried brany in the past and I nver have liked it. It is just a booze I never liked. Back in the day when I did do some drinking,if I had a coke with booze in it rum was the chose. I would of rather drank whiskey over brany anyday! I can't even rmemeber the last time I drank any booze! Fine with me!

I'm not much of a drinker but if I do I'd prefer brandy too. I just drink it chilled and nothing added. Since imported brandy is much costlier sometimes my friend and I would agree for local brands.

I think you can add ice cubes and soda water with it. I think this will make them better
