No-one offline pays for a bad job. It's the same online too.
If we lose posts we lose the earnings that they created too.
It is all in the FAQs:
http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#17
To know which topics will be deleted make yourself familiar with the Guidelines and then don't particpate on them.
http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx
We don't have an admin here 24/7 looking at the discussions as soon as they are posted therefore it is up to us to do our best to avoid those which will be removed.

Thank Misdianait:)
I was asking because one of the questions that I had answered is deleted.

You should receive a notification from myLot informing of the deletion. However if it was one on which you responded you will not be informed of the reason. Maybe you can work it out from the Guidelines and then avoid those type of discussions next tims.
If one of the discussions that you start is deleted then on the notification there will be the reason.

Hi Nikhabele,
I guess the others before me have answered your question pretty well here. Their advice is good and it will save you time and prevent you from losing money if you read through all the guidelines and FAQ. And even once you read them, sometimes it is hard to determine what questions might or might not be ones that will get deleted. I've been here for over 5 yrs and I STILL get these notifications. We are human and we make mistakes. Administration is human also and they don't catch everything. Anyway, Welcome to Mylot. Don't get discouraged. These things happen to all of us. Just have fun and get to know a lot of cool people from all over the world. Hope to see you around.

I think i might got a same problem as Nikhabele. Yesterday my total activities was 170, but this morning is it 168. I think 2 responses might be deleted but i don't know what it is at all because i didn't get any note about it. But it think it is ok, as Sid556 say we are human, and can't avoid mistakes...^^

Ryanong and Nikhabele...neither of you should give up. I can tell that you both will fit right in here and we all get things deleted whether it be discussions started or discussions we responded to. Key here is to get into getting to know people and get involved in discussions and just don't worry about these set backs...they happen to all of us ...it's no big deal. Hope you both stay on board!

hi nikhabele welcome to mylot and no you have not read the guidelines or you would not ask these questions as you would
have got the answers. why do you think mylot admins gave you links to the guidelines and FAQ's if they did not expect you to
read the information? why would you think you would get paid if
your discussion got deleted? nobody pays for breaking my lot rules
and of course you lose earnings. learn to read and know the dos and do nots of making good discussions. The don't are much more than an irrelevant question. go read all the information mylot admins sent you links for.and no they do not delete immediately as they are very
'bu sy with 240,922 people here. its up to you to learb the dos and do nots of making discussions.read the information as its easy to read and is your guide to how to use mylot the best way and have fun and enjoy yourself here.

Well, i got the same problem as Nikhabele too even though i read mylot guidelines. My discussions are deleted because the topics that i replied are deleted. So sad, how i do know that these topics would be deleted later? There are too many topics opened in a day...
Anyway, it was just my bad luck. Nikhabele, just be positive and being active in mylot, dont worry too much about this problem

Hi Hatley
I don't have to learn to read as I can read already, what I didn't do is I didn't read the do's and don'ts of mylot as you call them. The reason for my question even if I didn't read them was because I was supriced to receive a notification that says the discussion that I have answered is deleted.
Thanks for your answer.

If you look at the bottom of a Mylot page you will see that the population on Mylot is nearly 300,000 members. Each one of them is posting all during a given day. It may take who ever does the deleting several days to come across it. And yes some of your earnings are deducted. The way to aleviate that from happening is to read and re-read the guidelines so you don't make the mistakes that leads to deletion.
