What do you think about the timeline?

I can't stand it either. Sounds like a glitch in the system, because everything of mine is on my timeline. What I dint line is the format. It bugs me when I'm trying to find something on someone else's timeline. It's always very hard for me to find.

I have seen my timeline and it’s full of lots of stuff I have posted and even others I forgot that I had posted. I really don’t understand why yours is empty but may be u deleted and forgot about that. Facebook like other companies are trying to improve their services and hey really will not mess up with anyone’s account that easily.

I haven't had to change yet, although I hate going to others. It takes so long to load and most of the time it is distorted and has some of the items on top of each other. I don't like it.

I don't have that stupid Timeline yet . . . I'm not going to change it til they make me change it (resisting all I can). Looking at my friends Timeline stuff, I don't care for it. I like that the photos are now bigger - but that's about it. I have to zig zag my eyes around to the point that I really don't feel like looking. I much prefer the "old" Facebook where everything just goes down the line - plain and simple. I read what Timeline does, but I don't quite understand . . . I don't see how they put things in chronological order - or what the exact point of that is either because most likely no one will far (maybe with the photos though). Sorry to hear about your foot - hope it's better now!! But Facebook - I don't think Timeline will make our Facebook experience better!

I cant stand it, its too horrible. and moreover, there is no option to remove it. a lot of my friends is facing the same problem too.

Timeline sucks, and so do the rest of my FB friends who have been forced into that format. I am still in the old FB dispensation but I was told that my page would soon be converted into the Timeline format. When that happens, I don't see myself frequenting that site again.

I will say that there are a lot of people do not like Time line and the reasons for this, is the same as your reasons.I hate it when facebook keeps changing and to be honest, it is not for the best.I hardly go on there and I do hate to see friends profiles with time line.The worst thing is that you can not change it back to how it was before you changed to time line.

I didn't like the layout at first, but now that I've had it awhile, I've gotten used to it. Just like every change Facebook has made, it has taken some time to adjust. I noticed that I had to do a lot of editing on my timeline to make things appear from the past. This can be done under your settings. Unfortunately, it can take awhile, but at least it gives you control over what you want to be displayed to everyone from the past! I hope everything works out for you so that you can enjoy using Facebook once again.

I really disliked it at first. My profile got switched over a month or so ago, and up until I figured out that I could reposition photos I couldn't really get on board with it. I haven't noticed any issues with my older posts loading on the Timeline, but I routinely go through and clean things up. If you go to your Activity Log button from your profile, you should be able to see a full list of everything you've done on the site even if it's not showing up on your Timeline. It has options to sort by month and year so you can narrow your search down if you know when the post(s) you're looking for were made. You can adjust privacy settings for each post or event. To the right of the privacy settings, there's a little circle that will let you allow or hide certain things on your Timeline. Don't you love how these so-called "upgrades" are more of a pain in the neck than anything?

I cant stand the new facebook timeline either, and I have even switched over yet!! I mixes everything up on my friends page and its hard to navigate. Facebook keeps asking me if I would like to switch to the new timeline and I just hit "No, not now", I'm dreading the day it switches for me. And like you said, it deletes alot of stuff from their walls and some of their pictures are gone too, it really upsets me when they keep changing it, its like everytime we turn around Facebook is different!
