I really liked this book. It was a memoir, which I am a fan of, and was generally just good. It kind of talked about her self-image problems, "mommy issues", growing up, her (MANY) relationships, her troubles with her weight over the years, and her troubles with happiness in general as well. I think it ended on a good note. I really enjoy memoirs with any kind of personal trouble in them, and of course I have my fair share of self image problems some days.
I am now looking into more of her books to read....
Have you read this book? If so, what did you think?
Or have you read any of her other books?
Let's discuss Valerie Frankel here!!!

I have not read that particular book but I have read others that analyse self-image and other self-related issues. These books are meant to help us accept ourselves the way we are which I have had a problem with for quite some time now. I believe I am not the only one and they have helped other people out there.

I haven't read any of her books. I usually read all the time, however during tax time I don't manage to pick up any books. I will have to look that author up on the internet. I keep a list in my purse of books that I want to read so when I go to the bookstore (or usually the used bookstore, I can remember all the titles and authors of the books I want to read.
