Hello all,
I have started an eBay business as I am a teen looking to make money from home and supply my parents with a little extra income. I have most everything figured out after a few sales, but still have on problem. Inventory. I have tried drop shippers, but their prices are staggering, and I can get the same product they offer for ten dollars cheaper on eBay. I am currently trying wholesale but if you guys have any other suggestions on how to get product inventory for cheap, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Have you tried browsing through the "Wholesale and job lots" section of Ebay? Sometimes you can find collections of things which can be divided up into individual units to sell individually. Just as an example, I recently stumbled across a listing for 13 Batman comics. I was the only bidder and got them at a really low price. I'm now selling the comics individually - I've only sold about half of them so far but I've made roughly 200% profit on them. I've also heard of people doing this with Lego, stamp albums, cosmetics and suchlike.

That is one I have heard of and I am in the process of making one, but collecting old series sounds good too. Ill try it out, thank you.

The only thing that puts me off trying the Old Time Radio thing is that I have no idea how to check if a programme is out of copyright or not. For the likely return, it may not be worth the risk of legal trouble. Incidentally, if you ever go on YouTube, you might want to have a look at the video channel of a guy who calls himself "King Human" - he's great at coming up with ideas for small businesses.

Starting a business is never easy and requires a lot of time and effort in growing. Perhaps try and source as many cheap products as you can that you can sell on Ebay for a profit and keep plowing the revenue into the company so you can purchase stock in bulk. This would save you a small fortune down the line. Small steps will ensure your foundation is solid and also quick turn around time and small profits.

One thing I have tried is sourcing, but it seems every BBBC certified business's prices are larger than that of what I can sell on eBay. I would build my own website, but alas, I cannot build traffic of what I would achieve on eBay. So, that is one option I have not found an answer to.

Another good thing to try is hit garage sells, you can find nice stuff that is very cheap. If they are sellable, list them on ebay for a profit.

Cheaper products to sell online in your ebay business will need you to go around the city looking for wholesalers with the lowest price for their products. You need to come up with a strategy to reduce the prices of your product at retail or wholesale prices. On the other hand try products not readily available to attract more customers.
