Where do you all get your plastic canvas patterns? Trade with friends? Internet? Books? Magazines?

Well, a lot of them I have bought like at WalMart in the Craft department, but there are Yahoo groups that post links for Free patterns, etc that I have copied at least one from as well. Just never seem to have the time anymore to do any of this.

Yahoo groups are great. They can provide you with so much information. Have you done a search for free pc patterns? Annies Attic has some great patterns, some of them are pricy.

I work on plastic canvas projects all the time. I found some patterns on mountainharmony.com and others I ordered from Annie's Attic who also has a site online. I've posted a few of my projects on myLot so if you go to my profile, you can pull one up and see, especially the project I did for our grandson of the Sesame Street characters.

I get my plastic canvas patterns from many places--internet, trading books, buying books/magazines and I even create some of my own.

I got into plastic canvas by an online friend talking about it. My first pattern was part of a kit I bought where the canvas was colored to match where I needed to put the colors...kind of like a paint by number thing. Since then, I use the internet to get free patterns. MountainHarmony.com is where I have started my search.

I get my patterns from all over..friends, internet, magazines, and i've bought some pattern books off of ebay...really cheap there!..I've been doing this for so long that for a lot of things I make my own pattern. I got some graph paper at the store, and used that to figure out patterns for things that i couldn't buy. It works out great!..and for simpler things, you can take a dry erase marker, put your plastic canvas piece over the picture of something, and use your marker to make the outline. Then just fill it in..

There are alot of free websites around the internet that offer free pc patterns. Personally, I love www.mountainharmony.com/crafts. She does some great work and has even designed things for the sports fanatic. I also get patterns from ebay, inherit books from my aunt or great aunt, and also share via hello or friends.
