Following Man City's 4-0 win against west brom tonight Mancini did a crazy interview even after closing the gap between them and united from 8 to 5 points he still said the title race was over despite their being 5 games left and the two teams still have to play eachother one more time.
So if City beat United at home that takes the gap to 2 points United only have to draw a game and CIty to win for them to be ahead on their superior goal difference.
DO you agree with Mancini? As far as I can see the title race just came alive again!

As the saying goes, it isn’t over until it’s over. A lot could happen during the final matches. Man-City knows that they have a chance at clutching the title and will throw in their entire arsenal to get it. For Man-United to claim that despite the upcoming matches the title is theirs is a bit presumptuous. The race for the title just got interesting.

Mancini is just playing mind games. Football manager's talk is interesting at times with its contradictory logic and reasons. As long as it is still mathematically possible, which team manager could give up the fight and chase? That is their job to win. Yes, what you say is correct - the title race is very much in process!

Yes, Mancini does not want to have fans have the hope and put pressure back on his players. He knows how they play under pressure. So he made the statement the race is over. If Man United slips in one more match, then the title chase is very much on.
Cheers!

Well united surely has the upper hand but after tonight's games I think we should wait till it is mathematically over for either of the Manchester's teams. I thought it was over last week but it didn't seem so. It's obvious that Mancini's interview is just a mind-game as most of the managers do in such occasions, trying to take of the pressure of their team and putting it in their opponent's side.

But manchini has mention that the title is over and is in poor situation. I think that they just nearby and still can chase Manchester United if they strong enough to face the remain games. All they need is confidence.
It is really tough in every leagues. All these league is tight with 1 to 3 points only.
