I had an american patient this morning who said that the reason he opted to move to the philippines from hawai is because USA today is dangerous. He alledgely said that the US congress has passed a law that makes it legal to detain, imprison, and even kill a terrorist they perceived. The main concern with that law is how do they make it sure that the person they accuse as a terrorist is the real deal?He even said it doesnt only cover foreign nationalities, the law even applies to AMERICAN citizens. scary, huh?

True that America is not as FREE as it once was. It is pretty bad here right now and hopefully the people will take back their power. It isn't just this one law. Gradually, we have been handing over power to the government more and more and little by little. It has just reached a point where people are finally taking note and hopefully it isn't too late.

Yes Obama signed the paper that further stripped us of our constitutional rights. Basically anyone, American citizen or not, can now be held in military prison indefinitely without arraignment or even a lawyer if you are even suspected of terrorism. No proof is needed, no evidence needs to go before a judge or a jury of your peers, you need only to be labeled a "suspect" in an on-going terrorist investigation and simply disappear with no promise of release, posting bail, or trial. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama declares martial law next so no elections can take place. The scariest thing is most Americans refuse to even see what is happening to their country. Look up your right to protest, it is also quickly disappearing.
