Another book topic, well i ask this because normally if you live with out there people in the house or there are really things that is disturbing you will get distracted from a good read and i ask of you is what will you do? You get angry, frustrated, annoyed or do the thing asked of you and them bamm slam the door shut and on to your good book.

Hi there chicgale, Well if it is your little angel or someone you love, i guess that is a good excuse to just put down the book and get to it as soon as you have taken care of there needs, wow what a mom, thanks for the comment.

Happens to me all the time. I've learned to take it calmly... though there was a point in my life when I would be like, "Can't you see that I'm READING? Go away!" And my sister's favorite, "Climax point, go away!" Of course I would read some sci-fi youth books back then that were always exciting to me and I never knew how to put them down. It's kind of weird to say now because I haven't read those kinds of books in ages.

Hi there allyoftherain, Wow you must have had a blast back then huh, well it would had been nice if i was a person like that when i was younger but maybe now I'll stick to novels or pocketbooks in the future, Go away huh must had been annoying for her to say that when mom or pops wants her to come and you have the duty to get her.

Oh no, that was her favorite of my sayings when I was reading a book! Which of course, was a pain for me to be saying when I had other responsibilities and she had to come get me. I think she did start repeating it to me when our roles were reversed, but I know I started saying it first.

When I am about to finish a book and someone interupts me I sigh very deeply and sometimes growl because all I want to do is finish my book. If they want me to do something I ask nicely if I could finish my book first and then if they agree, then I finish my book.

My daughter hates this when I do this to her! She get so excited to finish the book. But sometimes chores has to get done! I do my best to give her time to finish because I know I do not like it either when someone disturbs me when I am about learn something in the story or the story is about to end! Soemtimes I get so engrossed in the book my daughter will ask me three times a question and I will just say uh Huh! (lol). Thanks Unique16

Hi there unique, Yeah, I mean yes it could be momentum breaker when you tend to disturb someone from reading and that is good that you empathize with your daughter as long as you make sure that if she says there is a man walking in your backyard that she doesn't know you wont say uh-huh, kidding take care a lot.

Not really angry, maybe slightly annoyed if they just come and ask me dozens of questions.. i never slam the door though- just quietly go back to my room and finish my book, but close the door first..

Then great that means you can adopt easily when most people cant and will have a hard time with the person disturbing them unless they are loved one's it's not weird you are just flexible.

That usually happens to me! My mom was the only one disturbing me always. I cannot be really mad or angry at her but I admit, I get a little frustrated and annoyed every time she disturbs me at the last parts of the book. Usually she just want to make "utos" to me and it's really annoying for me but I have to follow her of course so I'll just do first what she wants me to do and then after that, that's when I will finish the book.

I don't really get frustrated by that. But I am not often interrupted from my reading because I typically just read before I go to sleep!
