Fast reader, are you?

I have seen the series criminal minds i think more than 5 times and there is this one character that is named Spencer Reid and according to the story he has
or is a genius, graduated early in college and has multiple degrees and has an eidetic memory kinda like a photographic memory, difference is that he can has
the photographic memories of things that he has read before and not of all things that he has seen but he has a pretty good memory, anyway he browses
through a book like 3-5 seconds and he has read the whole page like just moving your fingers from the top page downwards and counting to three then
he is done, so are you like that or is faster than most when you read?

I think reading is not a speed race. So, I try to read slow, so that I can understand it all, I don't mean only understanding the message but understanding each word and imagining what I read. This way I get much more fun from reading than I would get if I read faster.

Hi rice,
You said it man, i mean for us it is much better to digest all the small details in our read so that we kinda get really in the zone of what is happening in the book and in my case i feel that in my way of reading i am like a boy hiding behind a big rock while watching all go down from were i am hiding from.

I'm a fast reader, but I am not as good as Spencer Reid, otherwise the FBI would've hire me instead 
I am also an avid reader, if I am not busy ( I have a full time job, so my reading time is almost non existence), I can finish 3 or 4 novels a week.

#-4 novels wow that is a fast read, Yeah i think there is none who can read faster or even at par with Spencer my man, he is just a total genius.
Well as long as you have your fill of books a week then great, take care now and happy mylotting take care now you and your man.

i am a slow reader but i take my time on purpose as well.. i have to really like a book to even get started.. but my youngest daughter is 15 and she is a speed reader and top in her class. she will come here every other weekends and she will be here fri night-sunday and will go to our library and get 4 or 5 books and have them read before she goes home.. and still has time for family .. she loves reid as well we all watch criminal minds.. :)

Hey there laken,
Oh my goodness you guy's love criminal minds owe my goodness that is just great and your daughter is really awesome to be like reid a quick reader if i had a younger brother or maybe when me and my gal have a boy i will train him to be like reid and teach him right from wrong and be truthful and again a reader a voracious reader.
Great kid you have there.
