I was reading and rating articles for readbud and saw one very interesting write up about how to drive traffic to your blog. I just recently started my personal blogs on travel and life, but I am a little hesitant to blatantly promote it to social network sites. However, I realized from that article, that promoting your blogs to your family and friends, is the simplest and fastest way of bringing audience in. Aside from that, they would also be eager to give suggestions and constructive comments on your articles. So, now, Im starting to post updates on my facebook wall, and send emails to friends about my new posts. I'm starting to get comments and likes from them.
Another tip I learned is to consistently visit other blogs, perhaps, of the same interest, and add comments so they'd be encouraged to also check your page.
What other tips can you add that worked for you, too.

Yes, these are all some tips for increasing traffic not only to a blog but also any website. But another important thing for being a successful blogger is the content of the blog along with its expression and command over the language of representation.
