Cashgopher sits in my computer

As I have said in my discussion on FB, Because of health issues and other engagements, I am not using my computer much, and visit mylot and other sites with less frequency; I am encountering problems; I add here that none other than me uses this computer. The first one is Facebook. So as per advice to run virus scan and change pass word. I ran virus scan, malware remover scan but with no effect, the scan result showed Cash gopher as virus? Let me tell you that long ago I had uninstalled this from my computer using ‘add-remove’ in control panel, but it didn’t go fully, next I used Revo -Uninstaller; but is still here, I know because specific words turn blue while working. Cash gopher can’t be a virus; so where is the fault? So how to remove this from my computer, should I go for formatting? Please advise, do you still have this, do you earn from this; mine was few cents in several months. Please share your views and comment on this. Thanks in advance. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . 13/04/2012

I installed cashgopher on my computer and i ensure that cashgopher is not a virus, it does not harm your computer's speed also. I dont know exactly what is a fault on your computer right now because many reasons might be related with it, not easy to point it out when i can see your computer problem directly...:). However, you should try the others ways before you decide to format your computer. Good luck.

Does Cashgopher use Codec-C? I came across this that you might try before reformatting: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=107929 (Not a referral link)

I nevr trusted cash gopher. I always felt it was malware. For what purpose would it sit in our computer and pay us to watch our keystrokes? To learn our passwords maybe? I put it into my computer suntanned my better judgment because everyone was doing it. I immediately started having problems with my computer. Every time I went to mylot I got signed out. My computer started messing up and I uninstalled it. After uninstalling it my computer crashed. I had to take my computer to the shop to get it fixed. I'll never trust anything like it again. There is NO good reason to download that program.

You already uninstall CG twice, so your problem must be came from somewhere else. Are you adding new software similar like CG recently ....? (MyBrowserCash for example). If yes, that would be case .......
