Do you believe in friday the 13th?

I don't believe that Friday the 13th is bad luck..It's just another normal day for me

Oh. Do not think too much about the 13th, because it might be a coincidence. In my case, every time bad things happened to me, it always ended with 6th days or sometimes I always end up on day 6. 6 is when you put another two 6 it would be “666” and “666” is a sign of a devil’s mark. Before, that is the way I think, but not anymore. I realized that not all people experienced bad luck would end up on 6th as I did. The cause of our action is still within us. I do not know the reason why Friday the 13th declared to be the day of bad luck, but one thing I know is that I watched Friday the 13th in the 80’s when I was a kid and occurred to my mind that every Friday the 13th is a bad luck.

I'd imagine that there was a time or two where bad things have happened on Friday the thirteenth but bad things happen on pretty much every single day of the week. And any single Friday or Monday or Sunday or whatever. There are just a lot of times where I think that bad things will happen, if you think that bad things are going to happen. Superstition originates right in the mind, festering, trying to really build right up in the back of the head. I think that in many ways, we sabotage ourselves in a rather subconscious way and it is just rather something to consider. We are the ones who create our own bad luck. Luck is a concept that only happens if we believe it, whether good or bad. If we believe the bad, then it will happen. It is not the day, it is our belief that the day is bad luck.

Thirteen is actually my favorite number. I am not superstitious so I guess Friday the 13th is just another day for me. Actually yesterday was a super great day for me.

I don't believe in superstitious things. I think that it is all in our minds when we think of something as bad luck. The mind is so powerful that way. I've had bad and good luck at all different times of the year, month, day, date and I feel that it has nothing to do with the specifics of when it happened. We want an explanation for these things but we may not be able to get one and have to accept that things happen out of our control. I'm sorry for the bad things that happened to you and hope that things are better today. I think that in some ways we make our own luck by trying to control what we can and let go of what we can't control.

I am sorry that so many negative things happened to you on Friday 13! I consider Friday 13 to be my lucky day, so!I look forward to the lucky things that might come my way on that day!

It is a name that men have allocated to a period of daylight and a number that has been allocated for our convenience. Nothing to do with luck whatever that is. In other words it is just nonsense and the reason why a lot of people think it is sort of an unlucky day is just a silly idea thought up by someone with nothing better to do. No doubt you have had some accidents on other days but are you thinking that day of the week and date is unlucky.

From my observation, what bad luck hapened on friday 13th that we all aware of? But christmas eve is always something.. Big disaster often to happen around this time..

I'm not really a superstitious person and I don't believe in Friday the 13th. I think what happened to you were only coincidence. It happened to occur on Friday the 13th. If you keep relating this superstition with the bad days on your life, you will live in misery when the day comes. There will be 3 or 4 Friday the 13th this year and you can't avoid them. And plus, I bet you don't want anything bad to happen 3 or 4 times this year, right? Just think the other way around and train your brain to believe that Friday the 13th is another lucky day for you and I'm sure there won't be anything bad happen to you again. It is not a bad luck for me. I consider it is just another day and I don't think about the bad luck on this day.

I don't usually believe in this stuff, but I had the toughest and most exhausting shift in my job this day... I'm starting to feel a bit scared :D.

I used to believe so but after awhile i figured its because your thinking about it too much and thinking alot of negative stuff, and that doesn't coop well with your day.

In my country people consider that the worst day is not Friday,but Tuesday the 13th,so I'm not scared at all about this day,and I'm not frightened about Tuesdays either,although there are many superstitious people who are genuinely afraid of such days.Anyway,if something bad is about to happen to us it will take place anytime and it is most likely to happen when we least expect it,not necessarily on a particular day,so I definitely don't believe in such superstitions.

No I don't it always was my lucky day. It's just between the ears. If you search the internet you will find a lot of info about the number 13, it never was an unlucky number in the past, religious i.. made it that way. So only if you believe in it, it will bring you bad luck. Same with horoscopes, etc. Those who believe in it are the ones you can trick and break. If you would write down your bad luck daily during your life you will find out there are other days/numbers you luck is way worser as on Friday 13th

I don't believe in that stuff. Nothing bad has happened to me on a Friday or on the 13th. Its just a number and if you truly don't believe in it then things don't happen. Me I just think your only thinking of one day that happens maybe once or twice a year instead everything month. At least one a month something bad will happen to you or you'll have a bad day. I don't believe black cats are bad luck or anything. Some people find 13 to be a lucky number and other don't. Its like saying 7 is lucky does that mean every time a 7 comes up good luck will come your way nope. Same with penny's being heads up. I've found lots of penny's that are heads up I didn't get good luck that is for sure. I believe we create our own good and bad luck, things just happen weather its on a day that people always say bad things will happen or all the crazies will be out on a full moon and so on and so on. I just think its a bit silly. 13th was declared baby because of the day it was declared that because of the number being so odd as it is and being associated with bad magic vs good magic.

I am not superstitious at all but it seems everytime Friday the 13th rolls around someone I know is having alot of bad luck. But this year it is me having the bad luck. My car broke down, I am job hunting and went on several interviews and not hearing a thing. So I guess this date does contribute to our luck somehow.
