Dear mylotters:
I have received a mail supposed to be from yahoomail updates. Has any one received similar mails. I suspect this mail. I think this must be a way to get our password some miscreant has sent.
Your two incoming mails were placed on pending status due to the recent upgrade to our database,

This smells like a scam to me. People are getting rather creative as well in a sense as most people would not think twice about something like this. Then again, the old "let's e-mail the people, asking for their personal details and threaten the shutdown of their account" e-mail is getting rather old hat to say the very least. So this is something different.
The lengths that some people will go to get a hold of a password to the e-mail account. I have never seen anything like that on Yahoo in the past and something like that would set up some rather warning bells right in the back of my mind. I wouldn't trust logging into something like that. Just seems like a trap of sometimes and a very obvious one at that.

It is simple you never give anyone your password. The only time you type it is when you are logging in and it appears as stars on the screen

You're right, a miscreant has sent that mail to you. I wouldn't answer that mail. Would you? I didn't get such an email recently but I don't trust such emails. There are a lot of dangerous emails in the web. We must be alert with the hackers.
