facebook fanpage VS facebook group

Hi everyone.. Well as mentiioned on my title, Both of the application is very useful for business owner to create promotion, awareness, and customer base. m interested to learn more of how can we use the application for business effectively..at the moment i have a fan page... I also wass added by my frens into some groups.. I get to communicate with strangrs thru group without having to add them as my fren..

I like the idea of having a group because then you're more likely get your notifications of what happens in the group.
