first of congrats for the god's gift in the form of your baby. my baby is about t complete one year. i did not had Cesarean. i also gained a lot of weight, however i burned a lot through exercise....thanks to my baby who made sure i did not rest and was on toes all the time.
All my family friends and relative advised me to go for yoga exercises to get back my figure, however i never got time and i would say i did the core jobs of the household to be back almost after 8 months

Hi rohini, Welcome to Mylot
Congratualation young mommy
I think losing overhanging stomach might took a little time to be back in normal. My sister in law gave birth through c-section and it took her almost two months for here stomach to get back in normal maybe because she don't exercise and only depend on gurdle

Thnks for your response!
It is been almost 50 days after delivery.
I followed Physiotherapist suggestion and regularly doing simple exercises everyday.
I have started getting my figure back:)

Congratulations on being a young mother. The best way to regain the structure and control overhanging stomach is to exercise but don't exercise too fast after giving birth because you don't want to damage your body and cause any pain. Wait a few months first. Some people are just lucky because their body goes back to their old self.
