Petersum is right! You can leave your money as long as you want, but log in regularly to check on the account balance. Tricky things can happen on the internet to unwatched accounts.

I think you can keep it there for a really long time. But I wonder what would happen with $0.5 in an unverified account.

Nothing happens.. it stays there forever until you withdraw or use it to shop online.

As far as I know there are no restrictions to how long that you can leave your money in paypal. I use mine as my Christmas shopping fund, so I will allow my earnings to accrue in paypal through the course of the year and then transfer it to my checking account right before Black Friday.
However, this year it is going to be different because of the fact that I now have a paypal debit card that I can do my shopping with immediately rather than having to wait for my money to hit the checking account.

Until you decided to withdraw it or use it for online payments or shopping it will stay there. Consider it as your bank account.LOL... But not here in mylot since if you could not reach the minimum payout and lets say you cannot access your account for quite some time the $'s you earned before will turn back to 0 after I guess 6 months absence from the site.

You can have it until you want to take it out. I usually wait until I have at least $100 because there´s a fee to withdraw money from Paypal. Check at the site whether there are special rules that apply for your country. I don´t think so, though. Take care.

Just like the others have said, the money stays there forever. But if i was you, i would still log in and update my password sometimes to avoid phishers, hackers, etc. I don't know if they can limit your account though. But the thing is, paypal is just like the banks, they take your money and invest it somewhere. The only different is, your local banks will give you a certain percentage if you keep your money for some time and paypal don't.
